Apache Tomcat Server from Beginners to Advanced (Udemy.com)

Good Course for Refreshing Tomcat concepts but Audio but not clearly in most of the lectures and It would be great if support docs are available for this course.

I've learnt many useful features of the Tomcat, so I'm happy that I've realised this course which it can helps me in my job tasks. I want to thank you especcially for the lesson about the connection between the Tomcat and the Apache via mod_jk as a loadbalancer. It would be great if you will show the lesson about using ssl in this configuration.

Als erfahrenem Linux-Admin rollen sich mir bei der Installationsanleitung die Zehennägel hoch. Ja, das funktioniert so, aber tomcat ist bei den meisten Distributionen in den Paketquellen enthalten und kann von dort installiert werden. Wenn man schon .tar.gz auspackt, sollte man den traditionellen UNIX-Ansatz verwenden und die Ordner nicht umbenennen, sondern einen sprechenden symlink dorthin legen. Der tomcat sollte auch nicht als "root" laufen --ich hoffe das wird in Abschnitt 4 dann behandelt...

He is having very good skills on these topics apache, nginx and tomcat and has described and implemented everything in a very simple way and has covered almost everything and has helped me to fix 2 issues which i was facing while practicing. Thanks a lot Sir for creating this course and helping us through...:)

When the course title said "Beginners to Advanced", I expected a lot more detail. The course delivers content enough to scratch the surface on tomcat. It's good for a PoC, sandbox environment learning but doesn't cover much from a production-scenario best practices. For example, guiding on installing tomcat as a startup service (important for a prod environment), covering tomcat native library, ARP concepts, etc. A lot could be explained on the setenv file from a configurations perspective. I'd say it's a "beginner to intermediate" course because of the lack of tomcat details.

The audio is awful, he skips many steps and there weren't enoguh resources or tests. I'm very disappointed

He skips many steps, videos have bad audio, he makes many typos and he doesn't provide information about creating multiple virtual machines to test the intermediate part. Also there aren't enough tests, challenges and resources.

Interesting but there not too much advanced topics as it is meant to be. Interceptors, valves, listeners, memory are topics that are briefly invoked !
Would have appreciated a pdf presentation to have notes on it.
Course not well organized for example you don't know in which sections memory, valves interceptors are invoked

How was Apache and Jdk installer transferred to Linux machine.
