Appreciated the hands-on approach and clear instructions in the course. The practical examples and scenarios made complex concepts much easier to grasp. Would be great if a refresh was done to accommodate todays system, like RHEL 8-9, but still a great course and reference.

It's ok but it makes some assumptions. 1. It assumes I want to use a VM environment but I am using a hosted web environment. 2. It assumes a RPM based system but I'm running Debian, so none of the installation works.

It's great to always see the explanations on a high level, followed by a hands-on demonstration via the terminal. It would be nicer if there was quizzes at the end of each section or topic though.

The instructor is obviously uncomfortable on the command line and with Linux in general - like he's a novice user. Much of how he went about things was inefficient. The labs were as basic as could be. The downloadable resources were only the presentation stacks, no exercises with TODOs and solutions in another file. The instructor has some rather unfortunate mis-pronunciations speaking entirely different words to the intended words, which makes absorbing the material that much harder. No advanced concepts at all. This course was very basic.

A detailed explanation of apache web server is provided. Well structured course: in first section, instructior provided the lab setup details with diagrams and then explain how to lanuch single or multiple websites using apache web server. Moreover, it covers security, LAMP stack , and how to launch apache web server on AWS cloud and link domain name and SSL certificate.

It is step by step course. From setting up lab to covering simple and advanced concepts has been done in proper way. How to launch web site using cloud is added advantage.

Lot of effort has been put by instructor in creating this course. Everything has been covered in very simple way. Sections on linking web server with real domain name and SSL certificate was superb and easy to understand

There were a couple of bugs in the course that were not addressed or corrected. Otherwise, really good course. I guess that you could say that your final exam is to find and fix the bug(s).

There is value in this course, I finally understood how my userdir space was set up at Uni. However I cannot recommend this to anyone for whom English is a second language, even as a native speaker this is hard going; the only thing is there is a lot of repetition so you will probably get was the instructor is doing in the demonstration videos. I think this course could be improved by showing how Self-signed certificates can work with Cloudflare. The course could be updated to cover a deployment on digitalocean and possibly the difference between Letsencrypt, Cloudflare and Certification Authority (paid SSL - there are 30day certs you can get for free). Also you must be comfortable with commandline Linux.
