API and Web Service Introduction (Udemy.com)

It's very good to start with the basics in a very simple way.

The course thought me about the basics. Perhaps too much time spent on the basics. I would like to see more examples with different programming languages. I took this course with 0 knowledge but i'm leaving with substantial knowledge.

A bit dissapointed, mostly repeating API and what it stands for in the first lessons, and then not even delving deeper than stating the words API stand for. A bit more in-depth explanations of interfaces and such would have been good.

I an into another domain but there is lot of interface happens between my domain software vs other software, that used web technologies to connect. This course really help me to understand everything from basics for example SOAP, REST, Web Services etc. and cleared most of the doubt. The trainer is very good, he teaches in a way that makes subject interesting and easy to understand.

Instructor seems to be lazy, using wikipedia during course, his own slides with same content would looks better... ;)

I didn't think much of this course when taking it as the instructor has a very mild demeanor and loves searching for "Tuna", but the content was very applicable and i've already combined this conceptual course with a hands-on Coursera to successfully run API calls at my work and solve a business problem.

I could relate to most of the stuff & I can use what I learnt on a daily basis, as I work with Postman & SoapUI. I also now have a better understanding of these tools & how API's work.

Easy to follow. Should add actual quizzes after each topic.

The professor really seems to have mastery over the subject, and he knows how to deal with it clearly, without beating around the bush.

This is a great course to take for an introduction to Web services and APIs. Not overly technical so that a beginner can understand the concepts. Great examples by the instructor. Highly recommend!
