Shilpa Khire
Hi...this is Shilpa. I am a financial analyst and have advised many corporates on the topics of financial and project data analysis, business valuation, company valuations and project finance. I am also a international tax advisor. I have my own consultancy where I advice clients on cross border taxation and tax/financial planning.
I am a Chartered Accountant(India) and have a Masters in Finance. I have passed the CPA exam. I have over 10 years of experience in the finance domain.
Besides my professional qualification, I am a avid reader. I love to read on various topics, Warren Buffet being one of my favorites in the field of finance. I love to read and implement the teachings of those people who have adopted a simplistic approach in their solutions...be it in personal life or professional life. This is one of the primary factors which attracted me towards teaching. I love to teach in a way that is easy to understand, practice and implement.

We can see the benefit of a course from somebody that has worked on a big company. Indeed, the vocabulary and the elements presented during the presentation are the ones we are used to hear regularly. The presentation reminds a number of concepts and explains them very clearly. Thanks a lot for this.

I think it has too much of theory and provides very less understanding of actual application of various concepts. Also, the course needs to be more interactive. I find it really hard to maintain my focus after some time.

This is very useful information to me as I am just beginning my Project management journey - I will know some of the information and the best light in which to showcase it during a meeting armed with the appropriate terms or having a rough concept of the terms when used by others.

This is a nice introductory course on financial concepts for project managers. I took to this to see how it would apply to my real estate investments. Some of the concepts to overlap or can apply to real estate investing. Thanks for putting this lesson together.
