Arabic Language | The Complete Course(All Levels) +6 Courses (Udemy.com)

I went through this course from October 2024 to June 2025. This course gives a nice introduction to the basics of the Arabic language (rules, grammar, tenses) and helps build a vocabulary base of roughly 1,000 words. The daily structured lesson plans and calendar I found to be a great way to track my progress as well as review lessons I found difficult to grasp. Currently reviewing all the vocabulary and lessons again as it is my believe that a person would have to go through the entire course a few times before they truly have all the vocabulary and rules memorized. The next step I think after mastering this course is actual practice with an Arabic teacher/tutor to further build reading/writing/speaking/listening ability. Make no mistake, learning Arabic will take years of daily practice that will be filled with struggle, frustration, and confusion before a person can acquire any real fluency. It may feel impossible at times (it sure did for me) but this course is a great step into the long path of learning Arabic. جزاك الله خيراً

I am beyond impressed with the structure and quality of the program. From the very first lesson, it was clear that Rafik designed the course carefully with learners in mind. Every aspect of the course, from the curriculum to the resources, was meticulously organized to provide a seamless learning experience. I can speak a little bit of arabic but since I moved away at a young age I lost the ability to read/ write it and speak it fluently. The course content was broken down into clear, manageable sections, making complex topics accessible and easy to follow. The lessons built upon each other logically, which helped me gain confidence as I progressed. What truly stood out was how each lesson balanced theory and practical application—giving me both the vocabulary and the cultural context to understand the language fully. I also appreciated the course's pacing. It struck the perfect balance between challenging students while also allowing enough time for practice and mastery. The use of interactive exercises and supplementary materials further reinforced the lessons, and the online platform was easy to navigate, making it simple to track my progress. Overall, I can confidently say that this is one of the most organized and well-thought-out Arabic courses I've encountered. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into the design of the curriculum and the overall student experience. I feel more confident in my ability to communicate in Arabic, and I look forward to continuing my language journey with this course. Highly recommended for anyone serious about learning Arabic!

I have tried many courses along the years, but nothing was efficient enough for me. I am astonished to see that after just a few weeks of intensively following this course I am already able to speak full sentences in arabic and I even noticed that I am getting a little more meaning from reading some Quran verses already. I am still at section 4, I wonder what I will be able to do in the final section... I have shared it with friends and family! May Allah reward the teacher of this course for not only sharing Arabic in a accessible way, but also for the determination of and efforts put in creating this entire course.

The instructor has a pretty heavy Egyptian accent when he speaks, there is multiple time during the course where he would literally pronounce a word differently than how he told us to pronounce it. Also, there's is multiple mistakes when he was teaching the alphabet letters.

Finally completed this routine practice. This course is quite friendly and suitable for all levels even beginners. It does not overwhelmingly focus complicated grammar but useful vocabularies, phrases that can be used and applied for daily usage due to various topics. I learnt a lot of useful things from this course, additionally, I also created a learning routine and it finally became a part of my life. Learning a new language is a long journey, you guys have to spend a portion of time for it. I’m almost done with the second section and I feel like I’m building up a great base to further dive into the language. My assessment so far is that you build a strong base for the grammar and sentence building which is vital for learning any language. Sure you can memorize random sentences or words you find online , but without a solid foundation which I appreciate it won’t make any sense. I would give it a 5 so far, but I feel I havent gotten that far to fairly assess the course as a whole. Update: Ok I finished the first section and I'm really satisfied with the course so far. The teacher even engages with his students and you can ask questions if you have any. I just wish he offered more courses teaching dialectal arabic, cause beyond the modern standard arabic I'm really interested in levantine arabic :)

After 5 months of spending an hour or two a day with this course (I am on level 6 with only 12 more lessons) here is my impression. There is a fantastic amount of material in this course but it is given in bite sizes -- Rafiq goes over every single exercise sentence emphasizing key points. This works much better than a dry text book our brains are hard wired for this personal interaction. A male voice also works better at least for me sorry ladies. Studies show this is true for male school kids. To me it is a waste of time to not become fluent in the language. Highly recommend the course it is an absolute steal for the price.

The course is well structured and easy to follow so far. Will add more comments later Inshallah. -- Update -- It's been two weeks for me taking this course every day, and as someone previously with 0 knowledge in Arabic, I can now slowly read, type, pronounce and hear Arabic words. Apart from that, the instructor introduces a lot of useful vocabulary for every topic which can be used in a conversation. Using complimentary apps like Duolingo and AnkiPro helps solidify the skills and vocabulary covered in these important lectures. I highly recommend this course to anyone with the discipline looking to systematically learn the Arabic language. The day streak and timeline work wonders to keep the motivation up. -- Update 2 -- It's been 34 days of daily studying Alhamdulilah. It's unbelievable that I can now form simple sentences and potentially speak to people to express simple ideas. The course has advanced in difficulty, but you don't really feel it unless you start checking previous lessons from few weeks back. Each lesson tightly builds on the previous one. There's one thing that really annoys me, but I believe it's the problem with all online courses - there's nobody to talk to and practice the learnings. I guess we just need to trust the process and stick to learning the grammar / vocabulary for now. Overall, the course is a hidden gem and I would highly recommend it to all beginners who only have a couple of hours to study every day.

This course WORKS! This is an edited review as I keep updating as I go along. I just started my last topic in Level 5 and am so pleased with this teaching method that taught me to sound out words phonetically before we got into any depth on the language. Now, I usually pause when I see new sentences so I can attempt to say them before Rafik reads it out... Much of the time I am correct and I am making the connections that tell me how the concepts and words fit into the sentence correctly. I'm finding it easier as I get more and more familiar with the topics, spelling and structure. I find something new and interesting each day. Starting out was quite a bit overwhelming but now I work on more complex sentences and concepts with ease..the key is to not panic or get overwhelmed...press pause / rewind whenever you need to, to allow you to time to understand. The level of repetition we get as Rafik reminds us by bringing back older vocabulary and subjects implants this knowledge deep into my subconscious and I find it so satisfying when I KNOW the answers and get the exercises correct. Thank you so much for this course Rafik... you are a Master teacher!

Great course. I am using the course every day and am at level 6 now. I am learning a lot. Before I was using Duolingo. This course is more systematic. I am still practicing with Duolingo and find this course a good complement to Duolingo or better to say Duolingo is a good complement to this course. The vocabulary is similar in both. Highly recommend it and appreciate a lot of work by Rafik who made a great course - Excercise videos are very helpful. Now I am able to read and write in Arabic, recognize some words in spoken language, and say basic phrases. I am seeing new content has being added to the course all the time, so I will probably still need a couple more months to review everything here...
