The first time I watched it, I didn't understand everything because I was new to the concepts. After learning the basics of C# and watching the course again, everything made perfect sense. The instructor explains each topic very clearly, and I realized how well-structured the course is. If you already have a basic understanding of C#, this course is one of the best for learning ASP.NET Core. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to strengthen their knowledge.

I'm seeking a career as an ASP.NET Core web developer, and this course helped a lot actually, by building a strong foundation and understanding of what ASP.NET MVC really is and how it works. And here's the reason why. You build a project from scratch, and that I really liked and enjoyed the most. You see In other courses, instructors use ready templates when creating new projects, which generates loads of built-in code, that can be so confusing for a beginner like my self. But not here, here the instructor will start building from zero and all the way up. Every single CRUD action method, view, Identity, and even the DbContext(s)! code by code explaining everything clearly and patiently. If you're new to ASP.NET Core MVC and are looking for a solid start, then this is the place.

Sameer Sir is the best. Though I did only one course with him, but I would without any hesitation highly recommend all his courses to anyone who is joining. I admire his amazing teaching style and his hard efforts to answer every question that I asked him well in time. His teaching shows his great in-depth knowledge in .net and other technologies. I learnt so much from him during this course in terms of concepts like MVC, JS, third-party API's, Asp.net Identity.

Great class! Having successfully completing the this class, I feel I went from a beginner level to an intermediate level. Sameer has other classes that are at an intermediate level and I feel comfortable about taking them. Exemplary class. As a beginner, I have had an introductory classes in C#, CSS + HTML5, and SQL Server. Very basic knowledge. In fact, I had to google “CRUD operations”, “Dependency Injection Used In ASP”, and “ASP.net Repository Patterns” to understand what was going to be taught. My skill level is laughable. I just knew I wanted a functional website with an interactive DB. With that as the backdrop, I successfully completed the class and have a fully functional site. Did I understand everything? No (especially at the beginning). However, Sameer explains everything clearly and by the end, everything made sense. There is some limited use of Java Script and I have no experience there. But I understood what was happening and just followed along. I read the 1-star reviews and I think those ratings reflect one of two things: either the rater had more skill than what the course offered or the rater took shortcuts and the site was not functioning properly. Sameer is very clear on the prerequisites and what you will cover in the course. Recommendations while taking the class: 1. I wrote all the code and did exactly what Sameer did. My lines of code matched EXACTLY what was in the video. IntelliSense will add using statements so when the code lines didn’t match; I stopped and took a closer look. I also kept the downloaded solution open. 2. After I finished large chunks of functional code, I saved a copy of the solution. In the end I had about 30 copies, but I never had go back very far to correct errors. 3. I used the 8.0 .Net framework with VS Community 2022 and everything went fine. I am currently in the “C# Mastery - The Complete C# Programming Course 2024” which is a great class. I hope this helps and good luck!

This was a good course and well explained. The instructor knows his stuff! However, there should have been a section dedicated for API controllers and how to do more complicated stuff like authentication in APIs. For programmers from other languages like PHP, it would be nice to understand the naming conventions of Models, Domains, Interfaces etc. Lastly, the most important of all, is how to deploy the project to a live environment. It would have been nice to see various deployment options like IIS, Docker, IIS Core etc which I had to google about when learning!

If you want to get a grasp on the ASP.NET Core AND you are already fluent with C# this course will deliver your expectations. The mentor does a good job of providing a lot of information that will get you started in your ASP.NET Core journey. Having the knowledge from this course you will have a good understanding on the ASP.NET core concepts and you will know what to search for when you will need it for your work / project. I gave the 4.5 stars because of this, however sometimes I'd wish some things would be explained a little bit better (why is that code like that , etc). Overall it's worth the money. Good job.

An absolutely incredible course. I love the way Sameer builds Identity in the controllers from scratch (no scaffolding) and it's the first time I've really understood this. His style of teaching is excellent and easy to understand. The way he explains how ViewModels are converted to Domain models and visa versa, including dropdowns have led me to a deeper understanding of how this actually all works using best practices. I cannot recommend this course enough to all aspiring dotnet MVC devs. I think the only thing missing is a section on Unit Testing but other than that, a superb effort. Thanks Sameer. 5/5
