Our take

Based on the ratings of 27,436 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in August 2026. No course pays to be reviewed.

Zeal Vora's Cloud Practitioner course is a plain-language tour of the services behind the CLF-C02 exam. It runs about 27 hours over 210 lectures and 13 sections, and it assumes nothing. The syllabus spends the most time on security (around 415 minutes) and core services (330 minutes), with shorter blocks on networking, storage, databases, billing and support. It was refreshed in August 2026, and more than 148,000 students have taken it, so it is a well-trodden path into a first cloud certification.

Reviewers keep coming back to the teaching. They say he explains the problem first and then the AWS service that solves it, in layman's terms, and one reviewer new to the field says everything came together nicely. The complaints are more specific. One reviewer says the practice questions are badly designed, with multi-select items that never say how many answers to pick. Another failed the quizzes and felt underprepared. Others found the notes thin and the demos light on why each setting was chosen. Older reviews flag dated screens and missing services.

Most of the 27,436 ratings are four or five stars, so this is a solid teaching course. It is not a complete exam package, though. With one built-in practice test, plan to add a separate set of mock exams before you book the real thing. For someone starting from zero who wants to understand AWS rather than memorize answers, it is a safe pick. Someone who already knows the basics may find 27 hours slow.

Best forTotal beginners who want AWS services explained in plain language before booking the CLF-C02 exam.
Skip it ifYou want an exam-only cram with lots of full practice tests, since this has just one.

Pros

  • Explains the problem first, then the AWS service that solves it, in plain terms
  • Updated in August 2026, so it targets the current CLF-C02 exam
  • Security gets around 415 minutes over 50 lectures, the deepest block in the course
  • All slides are downloadable and no prior cloud knowledge is needed

Cons

  • Only one built-in practice test, and some multi-select questions do not say how many answers to pick
  • Some reviewers found the notes thin and the demos light on why each setting was chosen
  • Reviewers report dated screens and services missing from the exam-relevant lineup
It was very easy to understand as the instructor explained in very layman terms which was easy to grasp.

Very informative and detailed. Zeal is very passionate and knowledgeable about the topic, that's why you would understand the concept and the context of each service as he has explained it so detailed and relatable. Thank you, Zeal for sharing your expertise to us. Well done for this amazing course!

This is one of (if not the only) the best "AWS Cloud Practitioner" Course on Udemy platform! I've first compared your course with 4 other courses, wanted to check how Instructors explain a specific service, let's say "AWS DutyGuard". Result: I closed all other courses, so only your course is still running :) This course helps understand more about AWS. I actually wanted to gain some more Knowledge about CodeCommit, but now I know more about CodeCommit and also about Git! Oh yes this is the first time since loooong time I rate with 5 stars!

The content is good, but it is quite old, and the edit over the years have messed up the order of course. So it does not feel as one full course. In some videos it is said, we will look into this ahead but there is no reference of which videos, in case you want to revise. I would have given a 5 star rating, if it was only based on content.

Sessions are very good, but only concern is its more detailed and time consuming to finish for AWS Cloud Practitioner Exam, secondly, it will be good to have intermediate quiz for at-least combination of sessions to motivate instead of keeping all the quiz in the end.

I took it in 3 days and it was intense.. I hope I can pass the exam tomorrow.. lot of information

By Abbas Fitouri on 12/20/2020

very well structured and the presenter uses real world examples to reinforce the topics being presented.
I thought the course could do with more graphical diagrams for illustrations that would help in cementing what is being said.
many thanks Zeal!
