Creator of ALL things AWESOME!

Bachelor of Technology with a Major in Computer Systems and Networking, I've always had a strong desire to make amazing things with the technical skill I learn.

I've recently taken up developing Ethereum Smart contracts using the Solidity programming language and have deployed a number of small successful distributed applications (DApps).

When I'm not writing distributed and immutable code, I'm usually soldering electronics and writing code for some of my IoT home automation projects, and also working on Unity3D game development.

It is a good sumup of the possibilities for the Iot AWS. But it's not a complete course for me, it is just an introduction.

Simple, concise and easy to follow for a 2 hour lecture. Great kick off to IoT discovery. Thanks.

This is an interesting course showing the actual integration of iot device with aws. I am not familiar with JavaScript Code and I could not get too much from lecture 23. However, this is a very good beginning course to give me a taste on the demo of real data from hardware device all the way to aws. Nice job Nathan.

This is an excellent primer for learning the basics of how to incorporate MQTT with AWS IoT. This course won't turn you into an AWS master overnight, but it will give you enough to get exploring on your own.

By David Anderson on 2/12/2019

So far very good course. Everything is well explained, more so if you are using a Mac. For us Windows users, it would be nice to have more guidance on set up in the tutorial instead of having to go out to a different site.

It would be better if reference information or link about technical terms can be provided for learners who are completely new to this.

By Carlo Centofanti on 12/3/2018

Excellent course here. It is not so long but it has a lot of technical stuffs inside. Good integration work between many different services. I liked this course a lot and I'm really happy with the new technologies I've learned attending the course.

This course was excellent to get a basic introduction to AWS IoT, however instead of using the example of "button" pressed, it would have been nice to see a case with a real sensor. I managed to get inspired to do this on my own in the end. The chatbot example again was based on pressing the button, which was disappointing. I get knowledge anyway and inspiration, I have to say Thanks to Nathan anyway!

By Philip Lieberman on 6/4/2018

This course is very early in its evolution, but the examples and use cases are very interesting and useful.

This is a nice course for anyone who want's to start with real home automation ("Not just blink a led tutorial"). The instructor is easy to understand. Does not waste time with unnecessary repetition and introductions. He get's straight to the point and delivers a course with real practical applications. All in all this course was well worth my time. And I'm looking forward to more content from Nathan. Thanks for a nice learning experience!
