AWS - Mastering Boto3 & Lambda Functions Using Python (Udemy.com)

Excellent Lambda course so far. Multiple realtime use cases till now. I have another 1 hour lambda class remaining. I expect that also going to be good. Two question, you created initially slack folder with python virtual env. But then in the later chapters, you're using Javahome to package. That's little confusing. Second, while creating package in slack chapter, you went to the folder after installing requests where modules are, zipped it and then came backward to slack main folder to zip the python code in slack.zip. Why not zip from slack folder just once?

Great Course with good explanations, most especially how to use boto3 documentation. I had to figure out how to run the codes using the current AWS UI. I could have given 5 starts if the author had updated the course, But overall I would recommend the course to whoever wants to learn Lambda function and boto3.

Section1, video 2 and 3 are exactly same so there is no video on intro to boto3. At many places, trainer is just calling out give all permissions to iam role or just showing that he has created an iam role already. It would be better if trainer could show us the specific permissions and not simply give all permissions as this is not a production case which trainer also has pointed out. And at place where trainer is showing that he already has an iam policy, please show the iam policy once or attach it in resources.

i was searching for a beginner course with short duration and not too deep. So that I do not leave mid way out of boredom. I also liked the way he was showing documentation and how to find and use a particular service. Thank you for this. Not to forget the basic python which was the reason earlier I could never learn AWS lambda as other courses are focused on Node js. Great Teaching ...

Good. But like to have few more sessions and few more in depth explanation of concepts like for e.g you mentioned in one session that u will explain later on what is the difference between Client and resources but never covered that in any of the sessions. Otherwise course is useful for basic understanding of concept.Thanks Hari

sometimes lecture content and lecture names do not match

This course involved someone googling for documentation and still getting syntax errors and missing arguments until he checked AWS documentation again. It not only delivered less useful information than any random YouTube video, it delivered less useful information than reading the doc pages directly. Even at 1.5x speed, this was a waste of time as anything other than an "how bad can this get" exercise.

This is an excellent course, the teacher explains very well , I enjoyed it a lot
