the videos are not consistent, on video 5 we create a new azure sql db and 3 AD users, and that's it, we don't do anything with them, apart from that now it is called MIcrosoft Entra. in the next video we again create a new sql azure db but we focus on sql logins and users and we still don't touch these ones we created in AD.

My Name is Satish from INDIA. I’m a SQL Server DBA with many years of experience managing on-premises servers, and recently I decided to upgrade my skills by learning Azure SQL. This course by Raphael Asghar has been absolutely fantastic for someone like me who is transitioning from on-prem SQL Server to Azure. The way Raphael explains the concepts is clear, practical, and easy to follow. He has a great teaching style that makes complex topics feel simple and approachable. I’ve just completed Part 1, and I was surprised by how much I learned in such a short time. One thing that really stood out to me was when he talked about the importance of combining video learning with reading books. His point about how reading books opens up our minds and changes the way we look at things really resonated with me. I also appreciate the books he recommended — they seem like great resources to deepen the knowledge gained from the course. I’m genuinely happy that I found this series. It’s exactly what I was looking for to start building my Azure SQL knowledge. I’m looking forward to completing the rest of the course and continuing this learning journey. Highly recommended for SQL Server DBAs who want to move into Azure and expand their skill set.

Raphael controla mucho la materia, pero a veces improvisa demasiado, no prepara lo que va a hacer, y se nota.

It is excellent. No doubt. You covered most of the areas in Azure SQL. If you have come across with Advanced Azure SQL, I would prefer to attend the same. Thank you so much for this wonderful training.
