Igneus Technologies built a short course on Bootstrap, the CSS framework, at about 3.6 hours across 32 lectures. Most of the time goes to a class by class tour: the grid system first, then buttons, links, navigation bars and the rest. Three small projects close it out, a landing page, a single page business site and an edit of a flat design template. The syllabus shows those project lectures are brief, around ten minutes each for the first two and four minutes for the third. It was last updated in July 2015, so it teaches Bootstrap 3.

Reviewers like the pace and the plain explanations. Comments mention clear instruction, examples that are useful without being laborious, and being able to jump straight to the one class they need. Of 213 ratings, 111 are five stars and 61 are four. The complaints are consistent too. Students say the audio gets worse after the first video, the markup can be messy or contain errors, and there are not enough exercises. One reviewer found it too basic even for a start from scratch course. Others got confused because bootstrap.com no longer looks like the course, and asked for Bootstrap 4 material.

Treat it as a short primer on how Bootstrap 3 thinks, not a path to a portfolio piece. One reviewer named the Bootstrap Bootcamp with eight projects as the next step after finishing, and that sounds right. If a current version matters for your job, look for something newer. If you just want a quick, low pressure afternoon with grids and navbars, it does that job.

Bootstrap is a free and open-source collection of tools for creating websites and web applications. Now we want to have one website that can respond to various view ports and can adjust according to that. Bootstrap is one such answer to all questions.

What will be the learning procedure?

Learning procedure in this course is very simple. We will first things in our hand until you say the words, “Yes, that was easy”. We will first introduce you with bits of bootstrap, mostly its classes. Every button, link, nav bar and related thing will be covered and we will do all the code writing part. But make sure you also write what we write in video. Once everything is done, then we will move to simple projects. After that shovel will be given to you. Yes, it may be daunting but just keep faith in us. You just have to modify the project given to you. Ultimately, it is out duty to make sure that you able to write at least a responsive web page in bootstrap.

Too basic, even for a start-from-scratch training. Not enough exercises. Disordered markup (and containing errors). Poor English level.

Because the version of bootstrap is actually neuer is not the same menu and elements when you go to get bootstrap.com and this can be confused. When I download the thing that I have to download, the font carpet is not there and i don't know if I need it.

Decent course and well delivered - especially for beginners. Perhaps a more engaging project to follow through the lifecycle of would have improved things, but overall it was v good value.

Thanks for the detailed walk through of bootstrap classes, I can easily pick and work on the areas i wanted to learn or implement. with bootstrap 4 in pipe line, I wish the author would update or provide the new features in bootstrap 4. After completing this course, the Bootstrap Bootcamp - Building 8 Projects would be the next place to start with. Some videos on bootstrap themes would complement more towards this subject area of this course.

I would had gave it 5 if at the end we would had edited the template together. Maybe adding an extra section. Its kind of good like this because it makes me do it alone. Quick course. Nice and detailed.

This course is very nice. The way every point is explained is too good. I already knew HTML and CSS but few things in which I sometimes mess around is clear now after watching all the videos of this course. If you want to learn Bootstrap, try this course definitely.

This was very comprehensive. I used what I was learning, while learning it, to build out a prototype mobile ready website, with a tun of features. The video and audio were spot on, and I enjoyed the sound of the instructor, not bland or droll. The instructor was engaging.
