This course was surprisingly detailed and easy to follow, even for someone with little coffee-making experience. I learned practical techniques that really improved the taste and consistency of my coffee at home. If you love coffee and want to make café-style drinks yourself, this course is definitely worth taking.

It was a great experience to get into the world of coffee, I didn't have so much more to say that the following: 1. I learned a few, but good, tips of how to make a cup of coffee. 2. I see, that in some section, they forgot to indicate some ratios of coffee and water, but nothing that I cannot find on internet. I end the course very happy and excited about making some espressos and americanos.

The course was well developed to give a very broad knowledge of coffee brewing with various types of coffee makers and brews . The Trainers love for coffee came out in a very precise way which made us smell and taste the coffee even though we were online .By middle of the course I had ordered a mocha pot & a French press . .. thanks so much

I definitely felt Gentlemen's passion about coffee, I can not deny it. It was easy to understand if what they prepared is beautiful or not but i kept my expectations high about details, such as proper timing, dosing etc. But, if they are to prepare and release another session of coffee class, I will be happy to attend and share their passion about coffee again.

Yes, I really enjoyed learning about the history of coffee and the many different ways of brewing. I loved learning about the different textures and flavours you can get from having the right temperature of the water to not have it boiling. Would definitely recommend!

I am very happy with this course and basically I went from barista to coffee enthusiast and I wish I can continue growing in this field. The tutors are really passionate about their jobs and they did such a great job as they explained everything in a very clear way. It was very pleasant to make this journey with you guys.Thank you

Excellent explanations, and real world applications. The course definitely changed coffee for me (i was expecting this), and had a blast listening to all the lectures. As a side note, i wish the were more activities one could do (sorta like homework), and a final exam to test the skills learned. I understand how this last one might be hard to put together, but i bet there is a simple solution! Thank you for this great course ! -Nicolas P.

good knowledge of the history and good tips for the research. explains the exact amount of grams you should use in each beverage and also the temperature of water . it was just easier if you could tell how many ml of water to use instead of putting everything on the scale . and little minus but thats i gues is a udemy fault , the website was out of order for a good 5 hrs other then that a great course .

By Gerald O'Malley on 1/24/2018

Based on the information in the course I purchased a Syphon coffee extractor and I'm enjoying it very much. Perhaps even more important, I learned the importance of measuring the amount of coffee (in grams, or ounces) for the amount of coffee I am making. I'm afraid that I've been making weak coffee my whole life! After watching the course, I began actually weighing the coffee before grinding it and that has made all the difference. I also pay much more attention to the type and nature of the grind itself. This course is fantastic for teaching the basics of a good cup of coffee. The instructors are engaging and likable and I would love to see them develop a more advanced course and take more time discussing more complicated brewing techniques (more information on lattes, cappuccinos and flat whites and the equipment needed to make those drinks.

I really enjoyed learning about the variety of coffee preparation techniques. What I would have appreciated in the espresso sections was more focus on the mechanics. Going through all the steps and making mistakes at various points, and showing what happens, showing the pressure gauge being under or over the ideal, and why. Then correcting each mistake and showing the pressure gauge being just right, and the flow of coffee being just the right time.
