Diversity and inclusion have become centre-stage considerations for profitable and productive businesses. This course provides clear information about various unconscious pitfalls in decision-making, in the context of diversity and inclusion, as well as in other contexts.
The course kicks off by introducing some key terms and the definition of unconscious bias. We'll also cover vital topics such as cognitive and internalised biases, while also touching on various methods we can use in order to prevent prejudice and discrimination. We'll then take a closer look at the role bias plays in the decision-making process and how to challenge established perceptions, transforming them into objective and logical approaches.
By the end of the course, you will possess valuable knowledge on how to prevent various forms of bias and you'll be confident and self-assured in your capabilities and skills, while also being ready to implement what you have learnt.

I enjoyed this course and all the information. I think it was good to talk about the difference between having bias and discriminating against something/someone. The one issue I had was more technical. It was either in the recording of the lecture or in the posting of the course, but the volume was very low. I had to put my volume at 100% to hear each seent of the course. At the end, it was a great course to go through.

The videos are very clear and the resources ask some great questions to get me thinking. The videos are very detailed and informative (quite intensive) so there's a lot to remember within them. I'm completing it in chunks to give me time to absorb it and concentrate. Perhaps a few more visuals or appealing to different learning styles would help make it 5 stars?

I think it was a good course. I liked the worksheet allowing me to do my own practice with these concepts. I would have appreciated a concurrent list of strategies with the lectures. I found it hard to digest it all, and while something like the AI assistant was very helpful, I wish there was a list for each lecture.

love the facts linked with simple (but profound) statements like the importance of accountability, transparency and on-going effort. The final statement - keep your unconscious bias in the scope of your critical thinking - brilliant!

The information about how the diversity has helped to the companies to be more successful and the tools to make a good decision and become a good decision maker.

More data, graphs, and visual presentations would make for a better lecture series than just watching the lecturer sit and speak. Overall the message was good, but the wording was more complicated than necessary. More real-world examples would aid in the presentation as well.

Training was informative and presented well. The section 4. Combatting And Preventing Stereotyping, Prejudice And Discrimination was not present, and seemed to have been replaced by "Common Goals." Otherwise great training.

Thought provoking information. Makes the challenge of combatting biases seem doable. Anxious and excited to give it a try in my work environment.

Terrific course! Fantastic delivery and insightful approach to explaining the topics of bias. I am recommending this course to our organization and will promote it for our course of the month club. Well done!

Very descriptive, very informative, inclusive of different diversities, gender, non-gender, ageism, cultural. I would love to bring some of these methodologies to my work environment.
