For someone who is new to learning Digital Art/Painting and also Krita, this Course ticked all its boxes and was very beginner friendly! I enjoyed the lessons and creating along with the Tutor! Thank you for making it easier to learn and use Krita!

It's a quick and easy to follow course that teaches the fundamentals of Krita, while providing useful tips which apply to the study of digital art as a whole. As a beginner digital artist myself, I appreciate the the accessibility of this course (It's free!) and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an introduction to digital art without breaking the bank. Thank you for this experience!

I really enjoyed the course. It was clear, informational and helped me understood the basics of Krita. The Creator's voice is also very soothing and his little jokes made me giggle. Good job, thank you for this course.

The course is good to get a short overview of some tools, methods and commands for drawing and painting with Krita. The teacher shows some techniques by doing some exercises from the scratch and also gives tipps and advices for i.e. keeping you motivated. As a free course, it is OK for anyone knowing nothing about Krita.

Muy bueno para principiantes, lo único que me gustaría que fuera mejorado son los subtitulos, porque los que estaban en ingles al parecer eran generados automáticamente y las palabras en algunos casos no eran las que correspondían.

Very nice intro to digital painting. Exercises were simple enough to not frustrate me, but challenging enough to actually teach me something and give some satisfaction once finished. And as a bonus, automatically generated subtitles are sometimes absolutely hilarious (it didn't influence my understanding, but I did have to pause a video couple of times because I was too busy laughing at how we are going to "drag a doctor above the canvas then the duck floats like it was a duck" or change the "breast size"). My favourite part is the very beginning, were the word "docker" appears seven times, each time transcribed differently, and the 8. time is finally a success. Overall, I've learned a lot and I had a good laugh.

Its a great course if you have some knowledge already there were situations, where something didn't work as shown and I spent some time finding / figuring out why, because I did not set it up, needed to adjust etc. (frustrating moment for a complete beginner with zero understanding) otherwise thank you for the information it was great to understand layers and to start play around with the program..

As an artist who has been using Adobe Photoshop for a long time it felt good to try a free alternative that is both cost effective and hardware-friendly. Krita seems to be one of the better freewares out there for graphics artists who want an app that focuses on the digital painting uses and not the design features and cost of a premium app. This course is a good, concise entry point to learning the basics of Krita and I'm glad this is available on Udemy because although other tutorials are available online, this course focuses on basic use and not the personal techniques of other artists.

This is a very useful course for beginners with get-to-the-point kind of lectures and loads of practice. It's short, yet there are a lot of details and nuances. I'm absolutely new to Krita, and it wasn't always obvious to me what exactly the instructor's doing or how he's just done that, but I got it eventually every time. Special thanks for update for Krita 4.0 ))

Its great course by Dear Paul. I learned a lot from him in this course. My favorite lectures on Wood Pattern Design. its straight to the point course. Great thing Krita is a free and open-source software, so you have no reason to skip this awesome course. I recommend this course for those who wish to draw with fun and real thing. Thanks
