A fantastic course, like all Jill Poyered on-line courses. Well presented, thorough, yet accessible, with relevant historical background. I took all Jill's Udemy courses, except that on oil painting as I am interested in watercolor painting for the time being. A warm thank you.

I left this course with the understanding of the different brushstrokes and how to do them.

I really enjoyed this course! I was able to go back and look at some of the paintings I have already done and could see that I already used some of the strokes without even knowing they were strokes. I did the bird for my final project. I am definitely going to revisit many of these lessons and choose another project or two to practice. Mastering Brushstrokes1 and 2 are great course to go through. Jill shares an in depth perspective about the history, application and also goes through different brush strokes used by The Masters. The course is very informative, as well as exercises based on each brush stroke is fun to do. Thanks Jill for spending your time in putting together this course. I am from India, and it wouldn't have been possible for me to know all the brush strokes and its application if not for your course.

The course gives an enlightenment to an often overlooked aspect of painting. I especially liked the history of brush strokes bonus towards the end of the course.
