I bought this course to get a thorough knowledge on Hive and Sqoop, it costs same as the other big data courses which covers at least 6-8 topics. So I thought this would be at a deeper level. But this is at basic level of hive and spark, nothing advanced. I doesn't clear any concepts as well (hive bucket - it would say it is similar to java bucket and then show some hands-on), just some basic hands-on which you will get in other big data courses as well along with more number of topics.

I viewed a first few chapters and they are succinct, informative, and thorough. I signed up for her advance course in HIVE after watching the basic course. There are no data files attached to the course and I have asked the instructor to load the data files and other resources. The beginner's course covers HIVE fundamentals and are presented in nice and to the point manner. One can cover many topics in a few days and learn the essentials in a very short amount of time. I will highly recommend this courses to other students.

I really enjoyed the course. The instructor is very good and showed clearly how the stuff is done step by step. I think it will be nice to introduce a few quizzes either at the end of sections or at the completion of the course. Great job regardless.
