Course content is good for beginners, instructor explained well , you will have good basic understanding of hadoop after this course but content is not updated. Hadoop1.x was used in this course and currently 2.10 and 3.x are being used . Even if this is beginner course, one should have basic linux commands knowledge , it will make things smooth for new users in hadoop.

it is very well presented and far better than big institute who talks more and teach less. Since its a Mastering in Big Data and Hadoop I am now waiting for your next material and especially Running a MapReduce Application on Amazon Elastic MapReduce (EMR). and Cloudera and more other

The introduction to this course is outstanding. Very simple, clear, and concise. It gives me a very good feeling for the topic. However, the class seems more like a Hadoop administration class rather than a Hadoop developer class. That is fine. But I would suggest changing the title to something like "Learn Hadoop Administration step-by-step from Scratch". But a very well done and useful class. I definitely recommend it.

I like the strong schematic graphics being delivered in time with the narrative, providing a visual focus which reinforces the message and makes thigs memorable. i also like the straightforward clear language chosen by the presenter, who is not afraid to repeat words he has used before, keeping things simple. Some words are delivered a little indistinctly for my hearing, and that is the only reason not to give 5/5.

It is a great step-by-step tutorial. It would make a five stars if the feedback responses would be faster and if more sample of how to use hadoop were shown. Thanks

First of all the instructors delivery is interesting and engaging. The slides are very well formulated. You will not get distracted even for a bit. The information provided is just the right information. The animation is very simple and easy to understand. I would encourage IT skills in Demand to come forward with many more courses. Thank you!

This course seems to be delivered very nice. Until Section 5 : Author did very best job. Very good examples and very simplified approach. From Section 6 : It seems Author lost his momentum by either missing some session or steps completely, or delivering 2 sessions twice. Not sure what was going on his mind. I think he also tried to cover couple of things hurriedly without much explanation, like Balancing Data Node. I couldn't understand what does that mean, even I repeated twice. He definitely missed explanation rather went straight ahead. He also sidelined MapReducer Functionality mostly. I still not clear what kind of business logic needs to be covered under Map and Reduce methods. I am disappointed after section 6. But overall, that doesn't demean his efforts, skills and talent. I would like to give this session 4 out 5. Remember this session is only for beginners to understand how Hadoop works. Dont expect much detail.

Started the lessons around 11.00 am this morning and I could finish all lectures at 5.30 pm with about one hour lunch break. The mode of delivery was very good and it was useful to understand the basics of Hadoop within a few hours. Hoping to see more lectures covering advanced topics added to this course in the near future as mentioned in the last video. Thanks.

Structured and cover both the theoretical part and the practical part. I liked who each lecture average around 3 minutes, which is really nice if you want to follow through with the amount of information presented. The sound is clear and the theory is presented in an animation way instead of slide, which is a good way of doing it.

It gives a good overview of big data, Hadoop framework and how to manage it’s various components like adding a node, removing a node, Hadoop daemons etc. Lecture 33 looks like is exactly same as 37, also 34 and 38. Can these be combined? This course is about basics of Big Data and Hadoop. The word “Master” in the title is misleading. I wanted some insight on how to write some elementary programs to process big data, which I thought Section 7 will give, but is missing. I could not follow Key Value Pair lecture, hopefully the programming sections in future courses might elaborate it better.
