lectures are given by diffrent persons, it should be given by same person. some times volume is proper, sometimes too less, some videos have muffled voice, not clear. otherwise content is good. explanation is also good.

Basics of Linux, Java and big data were explained clearly by providing couple of examples of map reduce jobs with a sample code and Cloudera installation. Definitely it's a complete startup guide to learn big data and Hadoop.

This course brings clear ideas about big data. It is well organized and straight to the point. This course would be better if the instructor in some videos (lecture 39) were to speak slowly to make the accent easy to understand. Despite this remark, I recommend this course to everyone willing to learn about Big Data. Great job guys!

I think it was a good presentation of overall process of starting with big data, but I was hopping for more understanding of algorithms used and real life examples as well.

This gives a good foundation on Big Data. I really enjoyed the whole course. It is divided into smaller chapter which made the understanding more clear. However, the instructor should review the quizzes and content as some content are mismatched.

This course is great for people with bit of programming experience. Big data concepts were explained in a detailed way. It would be great if this course comes with more examples. I really love the way the hadoop concepts were explained using a story.

We can use for the installation and configuration of the Cloudera. It gives the lot's theory concepts gives which understand with Hadoop echo systems with the spark. Also with basic Map reduce startup the program. No practical approach and configuration approach for spark and other parts.
