Amazingly bad course - the installation guide is not working, comments inside the course materials are partially in Spanish, the environment is not configured for running koalas, a lot of unanswered questions for more than 1 year.

This is by far the best course on Apache Spark for any beginner on Udemy and far better than some of the other overrated Spark courses on Udemy. Although the creator has used an automated voice for the course, but still works fine. This course covers all aspects of Spark including sections on Databricks which is very important and is missing on some other top rated courses. I really liked the materials and codes provided with this course. Thank you....

Pros: Overall well structured, very updated, teaches what you need. Cons: Missing important files, a video in Spanish in the middle. Also, it is obvious the narration is generated by GAN (AI speech). Least you could do is get someone from fiverr to read that text. Sometimes the AI mixes up terms and makes them hard to follow (like saying "mel" instead of "em-el" when referring to ML). However, if the files issue will be fixed, which is the heart of the course: the exercises, the course does deserve 5 stars.
