I have been playing guitar for 35 years and have been a professional full time musician and teacher for the past 25 years, working from my home and in private colleges.
My main passion has always been blues-rock music and i have been playing in bands of this style for the past 30 years, my many hundreds of gigs range from small club and pub type venues to large open air music and biker festivals performing to thousands both home and abroad.
I am a registered Guitar Tutor with the RGT in England and have put many of my students through the London College of Music electric guitar grades and have a 100% pass rate.
I am still passionate about playing and teaching blues rock guitar and have put together a web site (see link) for anyone interested in taking a look.

Dull course with a lot of uninteresting exercises. Not as professionally organized as the Rock Rhythm Guitar Course. There are not intentional repetitions of videos, which leaves you with a feeling of sloppiness by the organizer of the course. And if you did the Rock Rhythm Guitar Course there is not really anything for you to learn here.

Volume control is uneven. I’m constantly adjusting it. Typically narration is too low and guitar is to high.

I like his love of the blues and blues rock and how me mentions the, to me, all important attitude of having the mojo for it, the feeling inside, the connection to it, this is the key to being anywhere near a decent player of it IMO. i've watched guys who can shred like maniacs and i've walked out I was so bored: id rather her hear 3 notes from BB King instead.. HIS 3 notes, they could make you cry..THAT is what I call musicianship and ART. Looking forward to learning from Craig!

My initial review reflected some disappointment with the course, but was premature since I'd completed about only half the material. Up to that point, I felt it was elementary and somewhat redundant in presentation. It got much better with the introduction of various licks and chord progressions. Layout is good with demo followed by explanations and close up shots. I enjoy the course and look to incorporate material into my playing.

I would rate this course as an absolute must for a gateway to understanding and playing the blues. The course begins at a very basic level, and then goes onto a fairly intermediate stage of playing blues licks and riffs....(thanks for the explanation of the difference Craig). I have been playing the guitar for a couple of years now, and the blues rock sound is now beginning to emerge..."lo and behold" to quote Craig. Complex concepts are explained in simple terms - always the sign of a great teacher. The course is highly recommended. Thank you Craig for your lessons!

I'm only around lesson 40 at the time of writing this review. I came to the course knowing how to play basic acoustic blues but not knowing "why" things were put together as they are or what made it work. He gives very detailed explanations and gives plenty of example sheets. He also has this beautiful mix of progressing quickly so you don't feel stuck or bored, yet covering material thoroughly. Highly recommend.

As a beginner to guitar and blues I found this to be very helpful. There's lots of resources and the lectures are clear and informative. I look forward to seeing more of Craig' courses!
