Course Description
What companies like Apple, Facebook, Coca-Cola, Mercedes, Armani have in common?
They are recognized as Brands able to deliver something people love: a superior product experience compare to their competitors.
Brand Management: Build Successful Brands will teach you step-by-step on how to create amazing brands that are worth money.
The course is led by International Thought Leader on Brand Strategy Prof. Leslie de Chernatony, best seller author and professor in leading Universities.
This course starts with the foundations of brand management. It will open by considering some of the issues involved in nurturing brands. To manage brands effectively, there needs to be a consensus about the nature of the brand in question. As brands are intangible assets, a framework will be presented to characterize the quality of a brand. One of the problems is that an inconsistent approach to supporting the brand may result, so a framework to manage this will be discussed. Ways of building more emotion into a brand will be explored.
Effective brand strategy necessitates taking a pan-company perspective to understand the organization's competencies, identify new opportunities, and leverage the advantage of corporate culture to deliver the brand promise. Brand success does not result just from focusing on customers, but rather from adopting a more balanced perspective by addressing stakeholders. In an era when it is easy to copy what a brand can deliver (functional values), it is more challenging to replicate how the brand is delivered (emotional values). This session will address how by looking inside and outside an organization, brands can grow and be sustained. It will open by presenting a model to strategically grow and support brands, "From brand vision to brand evaluation." After explaining the model, the different elements of the model will be explored to show how the model can be used to develop valuable brands.

I love this course. The instruction does a fantastic job of providing examples to drive home the lesson. And he does a great job of explaining the different comments of a brand while typing back to the premise: A brand is a cluster of emotional and functional values.

some of the concept felt a bit region or time centric, like when he gave expamples of car sales, i didnt get the expample, i guess if i watch a couple of time maybe i will get it but over all he explain things extremally easy way .

Incredible, very current considering the years in which the course was created, almost like a reaffirmation of current times. A lot of knowledge was acquired and it was inspiring for me, and it will certainly be for anyone who identifies with creating brands and branding in general.

the experience is one of drawing one in with the examples used and the presentation of the lectures. easy to follow and merge into next sections. makes one think more about how important a brand is and how it relates to the users- think-feel aspect is truly vital

A very well structured course designed specifically in the interests of brand management. It actually takes you through the entire process a brand goes through, right from its inception to its execution. The models used to explain these concepts were brilliantly designed to provide a more transparent picture altogether. It has been a beautiful learning experience!

Wonderful course, it’s very insightful. However, I feel that this course could be updated a bit. The last chapter that talks about social media and its influence could be more elaborate. Especially considering the high involvement state that most brands try to achieve through social media and influencers

Both in terms of content, look & feel very outdated. It is a series of recordings of a class room training. Not quite walk the talk with regards to strategic branding, emotionally connecting with audience persona's, etc. There are better modules about branding available on this platform.

This course allows one to dissect threadbare the world of Brands. Be ready to have the taste of Brandosphere from a thoughtful expert. It would have been better if we had downloads of important sections like brand evaluation checklist and the brand equity mapping. Value for money and a great one for the effort involved.

This is a great learning experience and an absolute cream content being taught. i personally feel that this course makes the entire process seem like a degree course in itself. BtoC examples were many. i would appreciate if more BtoB examples are infused into the course. However on the whole an amazing course with profound KT from Udemy to me.Thanks a bunch!

The instructor bought to light many real-world examples that helped in understanding the topic that was been spoken about during the session. Although not all the examples were current, making it difficult for individuals who do not have an in-depth understanding of a particular category to relate or share their experience if any with the class.
