the course has a lot of outdated parts. but at least it was inspiring to build an own project

this course tech you 1.how to build you own portfolio,git,gitpages,git repo 2.email js forms 3.from this course i learnt skelital of portfolio 4.particles,bootsrap used are older but you always can see that from you tube how to install in npm 5. thus ""this course has a structured path"" for me it took 4 days to complete but i self thought myself better.

Course was no doubt amazing.I learned a lot of new features of react.I am not giving full 5 stars because of 1 reason.While I was working with react-particles it was depricated.I think the author should update this thing.Although I have scrathed my head but that took me almost 4-5 hours to debug that.I am really happy that I have my own portfolio now!You are the best.Please update the content that's what I can say.

The course is outdated and often I need to look for new information or install or rewrite the codes because the many code the teacher typed do not work. Also he often made typo and he writes unnecessary codes and come back later that codes and delete them. those action are always very fast and no explanation. it's hard to follow. His way of teaching choose people to keep listening.

Clear expectations, good explanations. I wanted a chance to follow along and be able to create a good-quality portfolio page - this is exactly what I got. Instructor is clear on previously learning required - helpful to know HTML, CSS, JS; Also, you'll enjoy the course more if you have some experience with React and Git/Github, though this is not necessary.

I picked up this course because I wanted to familiarize myself with GitHub and React while making a Portfolio. The videos not instructional. It's a narration as he makes a website. It was discounted and it had some things I wanted to learn, but it's not instructional. More of a "push the same buttons I push and you're screen will look like mine". I'm satisfied with the course, but not blown away.

Excellent content and you have excellent UI skills. But please make sure your voice is clear. Sometimes I felt your is not audible but subtitles helped me anyway, Cheers!!! I'm satisfied with this course, thanks a lot.

This course delivers as advertised! The instructor takes one through the process of building a react portfolio. Learning the contact section is worth the course. The whole course can be use as a template for a intermediate website.

the portfolio will look good when is finished but it's a follow-along tutorial, and it does not use DRY code, you repeat your code way too many times, if you have more than 4 pieces for your portfolio to show and take you to another site, the lines of code will be insanely huge... just for one link is 42 lines... I have 15 pieces I want to put up, it's going to be 630 lines of code - Edited : Thank you for your response, But I think it is better to show the new people good practices right away (DRY), I was able to finish my portfolio by making an Object on a separate file and adding my projects there, then adding a function to the portfolio file and mapping through it, which in the future will make it a lot easier to just add a new project to the object and the function will just render it automatically for me, I know you know how this works but I'm explaining to the new people my reasoning for the 3 stars.
