Student feedback -
Working with James has made a world of change for me
Loved the course, gave me the skills and confidence to move beyond the auto settings …and I haven’t looked back since
I had… no less than THREE "ah-haaa" moments that instantly brought me to the next level. They were white balance control, focus options and several camera setups I had not known or thought I needed to know existed

Good info but thought there would be more examples and or more detail.

I am an advanced user, so didn't find much of the course to be that enlightening, as it covers all bases from the very basics. That puts me in the minority though, I'm sure, and it would be great for anyone will less of an understanding of the topic. However, a couple of very good tips and tricks in there which will no doubt help me out in the future, so happy with the course :)

James was very informative and easy to pay attention to. The course didn't drag on and I didn't feel the need to skip sections or chapters. The course went very smoothly and went over both main ideas and tips and tricks. I feel more than ready now to try to capture video with my DSLR, and I know that if I get stuck I can refer to the great PDFs he created as backup.

A great course that provides an honest and practical guide to using your DSLR to make quality videos. I watched all videos and gained lots of valuable tips and tricks that I'm looking forward to implementing.

Really like the assignments and PDF's he gave out. I really like the short videos dealing with one topic at a time. Lots of good information, more substantial than some of the basic courses.

Un poco básicos los conceptos de fotografía para mi, pero siempre ayuda escuchar experiencia de otros fotógrafos.
By Kristof Declercq on 6/11/2018
Rather fast and short explanations the visual stuff disappears fast no demo on a real camera

I use my camera for hobby photography and was curious about making videos with it. I thought I'd be skipping sections in this class but no, it's a whole new usage of your same old equipment. I find this very useful and it addresses bunch of issues you spot on many videos appearing in your daily social media.
