This course is very helpful for me as I have already done my 2 years integrated DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) from SSM (Swiss School of Management) in Oct 2025 in mixed methodologies i.e., Qualitative & Quantitively my research topic was on " PROMOTE TRUST IN AI-DRIVEN SYSTEMS BY EMPHASIZING THE IMPORTANCE OF HUMAN INVOLVEMENT." I was highlighted the public fears, Fear in Job loss due to AI, Fairness, Explainability, AI Ethical considerations etc. Wonderful explanation by Instructors Jeff Todtfeld & Bruce Weinstein, Ph.D.

This was a really great course, I would recommend it to everyone as its a great reminder to us all to always be conscious of what or how you search for information and always verify sources. The emphasis is being conscious at all times to always do the right thing and research....verify....research and verify again and not just take the earsy way out and take for granted AI is always right. Great job to you both and very well done.

For the most part, the course was very good but thought that the quiz at the end would have called for more of my participation. I was not really impressed with Nicole Joubert's answers as it relates to the ethical use of materials use in the generation of images. The onus should not be on the original owners to verify or check who uses their original content to generate new material but should be on the users. I did however like that you emphasized that the original authors should be contacted or mentioned and possibly compensated for use of their work in generating new material.

The content of the course is good. Provides a good discussion around using AI ethically, and highlights lots of examples. Took one star off as the course presentation could be improved upon. Examples include ensuring consistent volume levels (it is very jarring to have to turn your volume up for a quiet section, then have a very loud sound effect), using clearer backgrounds to allow information to be read easier, and not cutting videos off mid-word.

I really enjoyed the start of the course, it felt balanced between the tech and ethics perspectives. In the later more updated 2024 portions it seemed to be more focused on only the positives of AI and did not continue the discussion around IP theft around both visual and musical artists. Overall the course was informative though and I enjoyed it.

The course is not a typical strictly structured lecture suitable for classroom type of training. It is more of a variety of discussion structured retrospectively in the form of a training modules. Is this a bad thing? Not necessarily, it depends on what you need. The course acts mostly as food for thought and is a good starting point to delve deeper to the points of AI and ethics that are more aligned to your job or interests.

The approach to this course works well. With a topic that has to be a little repetitive, Jess and Bruce do a great job of keeping you engaged. They are both likeable characters who are easy to listen to and follow. Some of the links they provide are no longer available, but I think I found all of them with a quick Google search. The updates are very important and pleasing. And I look forward to the further updates in the future

The course provided information relating to AI, such as ChatGPT. I remember the rave of using ChatGPT in my college days, especially using the tool to get some homework answers for some students. I find that as an act of cheating. Hence, as a stickler to the rules, I resorted to my own efforts in terms of providing answers. Now, learning about the context of this course, I am relieved to my current self that I am not using ChatGPT for selfish reasons, since as per the course mentioned, it sometimes gives misleading information. Of course, this is not the case in terms of other AI Tools. Furthermore, as the course has taught learners like me, AI Tools are morally neutral. It is our responsibility as users to walk the talk by doing things morally right. Hence, I am also looking forward on applying the things that I have learned in this course.

Understand the ethic principles is been a great oportunity to think, not only about life but also how can I better use GenAI. Nowadays clients are demanding so many use cases of GenAI for their lifes, how to help them to improve their activities. So, taking care about these principles I can help them to think what they should or shouldn't do during their interactions with GenAI. It's a very good experience!

Yes, this is a good match and very interesting. I disagree somewhat in the last lesson, #49 "AI Challenges at Work", however, and the statement "Keep the Human aspect in the AI results to ensure quality throughout. I come from a Graphic Design background, and the emphasis in college was always about elite design. As time went out after graduation, the jobs and salaries became less. As it turns out, instead of clients paying for top shelf design, they just lowered their standards of quality to save a buck. I'm wondering if this is going to play out in AI over time.
