Great course, I would recommend this for any beginner or expert to watch. Probably missed out on a few key topics such as focal lengths, stabilization, lighting styles, picture profiles etc but it was still a pleasant refresher and well presented. Great job!

Because it’s really great job out there my only concern about this is not for beginners to know what the difference between cameras so I think there is better or easier way to talk about cams also thanks for shearing this material with us it’s veery educational and creative learning

We need to go out and shoot a lot, to get an on-hand experience to improve our videos / movies. But as the situation is quite grave, due to the virus. I am learning these topics as "good to know". But in future, when we can go around, then only I can use this knowledge. But thanks for the course and the explanation was quite in details.

Learned a lot. Mitchell is a great, down to earth instructor who seems authentic in teaching us. A few hiccups in his videos/chapters and promo about his red cape ND filters buts not overly aggressive at all and come on this is a free course so he's gotta plug it in. The conclusion, he seemed teary-eyed don't know if it was authentic but it sure damn felt like it. He comes off like a great guy and very knowledgeable. Thanks Mitchell!

The material and the way he presents it is very easy to take in and understand! However, there is an entire section and video missing from the course (Aperture, shutter speed, ISO) that is listed in the course description, and is referenced in other sections that would be extremely useful to learn

The is very much informative to me. But one Think I want to add if editing portion of the course is giving more videos it will be more beneficial. Thank You.

Above expectations. Great content, great teacher. Mitchell is talking very clearly, slowly and it never gets boring. Looking forward to starting his DSLR filmmaking masterclass.

I love the breakdown of each camera by their pros and cons. It really helps me conceptualize what the camera does rather than having to figure it out based on some lengthy overly jargon filled explanation.
By Matthew Hinman on 2/11/2019
Was not expecting the course to be 95% talking head. Would have liked to have seen some real-world application rather than. Content is good, but lacks the ability to hold my attention. If this changes in the course, I'll gladly come back to it. Thanks!
By Trishani Paul on 11/26/2018
I genuinely liked the video as it has given me a lot of knowledge about lights, colour temperature, exposure and many more things. It has also given me knowledge about different types of cameras and lenses. I gained a lot of important knowledge about outdoor and indoor shoots. The differentiation about the types of lights that are used during outdoor shoots is really going to help me a lot.
