I am a Software Engineer and entrepreneur, currently focused on the intersection of AI and practical finance. I am the co-founder of Revalorify, a startup dedicated to simplifying budget creation through artificial intelligence.
My work at Revalorify has driven my professional growth into full-stack JavaScript (React and Node.js) and specialized AI technologies, including Generative AI, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and Google's Vertex AI platform.
This new venture builds on a solid foundation of over seven years in software development. My background is heavily rooted in mobile, where I was a Xamarin-Certified Developer building cross-platform applications in C#. During that time, I co-founded my first startup, AlphaBeta, which was focused on helping Mexicans adopt new digital technologies.
Beyond development, I have a deep passion for education and have successfully mentored thousands of students in coding. My students often say I have a knack for making complex subjects easy to understand. I also have a keen eye for design, which I use as both a creative outlet and a way to ensure the applications I build are not only functional but also intuitive.

The introduction has a good tempo, the automatically generated translations are many times incorrect (curse instead of course, for example). Nevertheless it is still clear to me. Also I'm a Mac / Linux user. It is not clear to me if I should really install visual studio or is this also done in the cloud environment? Maybe make clear that this should be installed on your laptop/dasktop computer at home which is, in this context, a client of the cloud (hope I did understand this correctly, not sure to be honest). Currently it is not very clear what a cloud service is and what it means compared to a web service.

Overall, it was a good course for a solid introduction to Azure. I like that the instructor went back and updated it after the Azure Portal had changed. It is fast-paced and the instructor is knowledgeable. There were some issues though: - There weren't many example of real-world applications, especially when using multiple Azure services together. - The instructor kept mispronouncing the word "course" as "curse" throughout the whole course (I mean "curse", I guess). - It was a bit on the cheap side as far as production - people were trying to get ahold of the instructor on Skype during the course. He could have just turned off Skype before recording video. But all-in-all, it is a decent course that can be used with others to create a solid foundation in Azure.

Too disjointed. I am not able to follow why web apps, websites, web roles are being created. It would be easier if it was done as a HOW TO. What steps to migrate a SQL database or any data to CLOUD STEP BY STEP. But I will continue on to the end to see if I learn anything but right now I have not learned anything but just watching things being created without know why are these things being created.

It was not indicated in the ad for this course that the MS Visual Studio needed to be installed. This is a setback for me: update - turns out that I'm not required to use Visual Studio. Course is well thought out and organized.

It's really good. Better than most of the introduction courses. It would be great if you can recommend the follow-up courses :)

I learned a lot and will really benefit from this since more and more companies move up to Azure or amazon's cloud solution Reasson I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I would really have like the course to cover a bit more about domains and virtual networks so that we can join the VM's to domains and activate the AD for Excaple. also covering the Azure AD would have been nice too Otherwise great course man thanks a lot! :)

Uses older version of Azure, it refers to MSDN account but on Azure webpage its now called Visual Studio account. Also the download section on the .NET SDK was not clear, couldn't follow what I needed to download. I do have VS 2015 so hopefully I already have everything I need. Just need to update to newer versions of Azure. SQL Database section has changed also.

Overall this course provide quick overview of azure cloud computing. Instructor is very knowledgeable and showed several exercises during class. It would be great if Instructor had walked through menu first. Also keeping computer in English will be good as some sections were in Spanish and I could not read menu in your computer screen. Finally, if instructor asks students to do lab while pause recording and showing instructions, it will give hands-on lab flavor as we know things better when we do it ourselves. Thank you for the great course.

Good course, it does covers the basic of cloud technology but I feel it lacks the information on how to solve real time problems that small, medium or enterprise companies face when starting up or moving up to Azure cloud from where they currently are. Also, part of my rating is due to fact that I haven't received any response from instructor for the questions I asked in Q&A section. I hope all is well.

This is an excellent start to someone who may not be completely familiar with using the Azure services provided by Microsoft. A good introductory course that will lay the foundation for future courses I am sure. I was very pleased with the way that this course was delivered and the instructor was very easy to understand, which is not always the case with online learning resources. Clearly, the instructor has put in a lot of effort to make this course easy to understand. A lot of material is covered being that this is an introductory course only. If you have any interest in using Microsoft Azure I recommend you check this course out, it will definitely not be a waste of your time.
