Course Description

This COBIT® 2019 Foundation Practice Test covers seven key areas of COBIT 2019: framework introduction, principles, governance system and components, governance and management objectives, performance management, designing a tailored governance system.

It explores COBIT® 2019 concepts, principles and methodologies used to establish, enhance and maintain a system for effective governance and management of enterprise information technology. The questions will test a candidate’s understanding of the topics of COBIT 2019.

The official COBIT® exam domain distribution

  • 12% Framework Introduction.

  • 13% Principles.

  • 3% Business Case.

  • 30% Governance System and Components.

  • 7% Designing a Tailored Governance System.

  • 23% Governance and Management Objectives.

  • 8% Implementation.

  • 4% Performance Management.

COBIT® (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies) is a framework created by ISACA for information technology (IT) management and IT governance. [1]

The framework is business focused and defines a set of generic processes for the management of IT, with each process defined together with process inputs and outputs, key process-activities, process objectives, performance measures and an elementary maturity model

Enterprise Governance of Information and Technology

In the light of digital transformation, information and technology (I&T) have become crucial in the support, sustainability and growth of enterprises. Previously, governing boards (boards of directors) and senior management could delegate, ignore or avoid I&T-related decisions. In most sectors and industries, such attitudes are now ill- advised. Stakeholder value creation (i.e., realizing benefits at an optimal resource cost while optimizing risk) is often driven by a high degree of digitization in new business models, efficient processes, successful innovation, etc. Digitized enterprises are increasingly dependent on I&T for survival and growth.

Given the centrality of I&T for enterprise risk management and value generation, a specific focus on enterprise governance of information and technology (EGIT) has arisen over the last three decades. EGIT is an integral part of corporate governance. It is exercised by the board that oversees the definition and implementation of processes, structures and relational mechanisms in the organization that enable both business and IT people to execute their responsibilities in support of business/IT alignment and the creation of business value from I&T-enabled business investments

The course was extremely helpful in preparing me for the exam. It enabled me to strengthen my understanding of the concepts, practice effectively, and gain deeper knowledge of the topics covered. Thanks to the clear explanations and structured learning approach, I was able to pass the exam on my first attempt in a short period of time.

The practice questions are very close to the ones you actually get on the COBIT 2019 Foundation exam — same style, same level of difficulty — and several of the topics covered turned out to be highly relevant. As exam preparation, this course is excellent. One small criticism: in the last two sets (by which point I felt I genuinely understood the material) I came across three questions that were either not phrased ideally, or where the given answer didn't fully match the official COBIT materials. Nothing that would put me off the course, but worth cross-checking anything that looks off against the official guidance. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it.

I wrote my exam in February 2026, & passed with 86%. The questions banks really helps you to be familiar with the format of how they ask the questions and some of the questions from the exam pack was repeated in the exam. I would advise anyone who will be taking the exam to make sure they complete all the questions in the question bank and review the answers. I practiced the same test twice and on my second attempt I was getting about 80 - 96% , this is when I knew I was ready for the exam. Thank you Dr Amor for this exam pack! And all the best to all those who must still take the test! G-d bless you.

I am incredibly grateful for this exam prepartion, as it helped me achieve an 85% score on my exam. To everyone reading my review, please note that the exact questions may not be the same, but they are quite similar. If you study diligently and follow the course content, you will be well-prepared. Highly recommended!

First time I'm trying this practice my average score was 75-79%, then I study a bit more to get my average to 85-90% (because I just want to have 20% safety buffer). So, I can say that this sets of practice is quite accurate, because I passed the exam with 88%. Thanks

I highly recommend doing these practice tests at least twice before your exam! It boggles me that ISACA do not offer something similar! For obvious reasons do not expect to see the same exact questions in the real exam however by practicing these tests it allows you to be able to apply your knowledge effectively and focus on the key concepts which will be covered in the real exam. Study Technique I advise: I did not follow the aim of knowing absolutely every detail of the study book and even after just sitting the exam I couldn't repeat all 40 Management and Governance Objective the strategy I followed is how to apply by knowledge of the framework which is a useful technique especially if you want to apply the framework in your day to day work. Everyone studies differently but here is what I followed: - Watch the ISACA Issued Foundation Course (5hrs watch-time split over 2 days) - Read the content once (8hrs of work split over a manageable 5 days) - Make flashcards as you read - Practice these tests once you have gone through the content (1 a day over 6 days) - Repeat all practice tests over 2 days before your exam date. In total I would say with serious commitment a week is sufficient however as there was no rush I took my time this took me just over 3 weeks. Feedback: - There are a number of spelling / grammatical errors throughout the practice tests, although these did not distract too much I would advice the writer to go through each test and correct errors. - It would be good if the explanations for each wrongfully answered question includes why other potential answers are not correct - Reference to the section within the study text would be useful for all questions.

A briefy encouragement to anyone who wants to pass the Cobit exam. You definitely need this platform. Adding onto the positive reviews for this course. This plateform enabled me to practice as many times as I desired and I am pleased to say I passed the Cobit exam with a score of 90% first attempt. Do not feel overwhelmed study, practice, study then practice some more. This plateform has an amazing feature designed as the exam set-up there is no better and afforable plateform like this one. Believe in yourself and Trust the plateform. You will not regret it.

O simulado me ajudou muito a me preparar para o exame do Cobit. Muita das questões que tive no meu exame eram iguais ou bem parecidas com o que foi apresentado nos simulados. As questões abordam os assuntos e o método apresentado na prova de forma muito similar.

On my exam yesterday, which I passed, there were only about 10 questions from this grouping. All questions from this grouping were on the final practice exam from the COBIT 2019 course that I took. You definitely have to read the COBIT 2019 Framework - Introduction and Methodology ISACA book to pass this exam.

By Javid Ahamed Jaleel on 6/1/2020

Passed my exam. Practice tests helped me a lot to prove my understanding on the topic. I am happy to have around 10% from these practice questions. Questions were exceptionally not on the higher level but on the details (Ex: common criteria between level 1 and 4), specific category in scope of which domain and so on. Recommend to update more questions. Thanks and keep up the good work.
