I understand your struggle
Do you feel like the technical side of Cubase is stopping you from reaching your full creative musical potential?
You have a lot of creative ideas, but things just get too complicated and technical?
You've been using Cubase for quite some time, but it still doesn't feel like you're in control?
HERE IS THE HARD WAY
I felt the same way like you do when I just started using Cubase, 10 years ago.
I had a lot of musical Ideas and knew how to create it on my instruments, but when it comes to recording and producing it in Cubase, I didn’t know where to start and the program felt so complex.
I started doing what everybody does – Youtube videos and Google search.
These are great resources but I felt overwhelmed. I was spending hours and hours on numerous tutorial videos and articles instead of making music.
Eventually I have mastered the entire music production process, but it cost me a lot of time and effort.
I carefully listened to what people like you had to say
In order to create content of true value, I built a group of more than 50 CUBASE USERS.
I wanted their guidance in making this course. Their struggles, questions, and difficulties were very important to me.
They were mostly complete beginners. Some of them were Cubase users for quite a while but still felt like something was missing. Experienced producers who wanted to switch from another DAW were here as well.
I managed to get extremely valuable feedback and frequently asked questions which helped me to structure this course and create lesson materials from their perspective.
THIS IS WHAT SOME OF THEM SAY ABOUT THE COURSE
"The videos are thorough, complete and presented at a slow pace, which is something I appreciate. I've had access to many tutorials of Cubase and this course is, by far, the best that I've found. I struggle with digital technology. I'm 68 years old and I finally feel that I'm understanding Cubase."
Michael Champion
“Complete Cubase Mastery is a very easy to follow course. It's everything you need to start without going through difficult Manuals or expensive Education. I wish I had found a course like this when I just started out.”
Patrick Esman, Bass Player and Owner of YTL Productions
“Every second of watching this course was very well spent. I gained more knowledge in 2 weeks than during the past two years of learning by myself. This course is so well structured and Milan is a very cool guy to learn from. Even though I had some previous experience with Cubase this brought my game to a whole new level. Thank you for sharing the knowledge and experience.”
Danilo, Singer-songwriter

Thank you Milan, this course did teach me the basics and I am much more ready to start making some music. To other people considering this course: It teaches you the basic technicalities of Cubase so that you can navigate the DAW, but you will need other courses to learn mixing, composing and so on.

If you do not want to go through the somewhat daunting and awkward Cubase user's manual, and rightly so, this course will guide you through the basic features and how to use them to create your own projects. Some lessons seem kind of improvised and not thoroughly designed, but the whole course is up to its promise. You will get knowledge about the main and most important features and learn how to master a simple project. No real mixing and mastering lessons are given, just some hints and tips, thus, if you are looking after deeper techniques in mixing and matering, you may be looking somewhere else. Several features, more than advertised, are related to the Pro version of Cubase but the basic remain the same. Don't think about using Q&A, there will likely be no As, like with most teachers.

I really love the way he presents the things. He's taking care of every detail. And I know it's a personal preferrence, but I like that he's not doing a script reading, but instead he's presenting the lessons with his own words. It gives me a feeling like I'm learining with one of my expert friend instead of a scripted lesson.

This course provides a really good grounding in Cubase. The software can be baffling and daunting to a new user and this course expertly guides you through everything you need to know to get started. It's well set out and presented and I'll definitely keep coming back to it in the future.

As a returning user of Cubase, I got this course to refresh my knowledge of Cubase functions, shortcuts, and utilities, I found this course to be very good for my purpose. My star rating is given based on my expectations, what I paid, what was presented, and the way it was presented. At $12.50 I feel like I got more than my money’s worth, and I had an enjoyable experience going through the material. One thing I wished and hoped for was a downloadable, and printable, cheat sheet of Cubase keyboard shortcuts, which was not included (or at least I was unable to locate it). Despite this, the course delivered, and I am very happy with my purchase.

Based only on my having written a book of elementary violin duos for students, I was asked to write a piece for a short film...and ended up writing the soundtrack...yikes! Most of my experience was in a score-writer, not a DAW. I did have Cubase Elements but had barely started learning. This course got me through, phew!! I did upgrade to Pro because it's better for that type of work. Of course, I still have barely scratched the surface of Cubase, but with the help of this course, I was able to keep things simple and get the job done. I appreciate how the content of each video is focused on the essentials and I didn't have to wade through long videos of questionable use which I have commonly had to deal with elsewhere. Thanks for a great course!

I've been using Cubase since version 9 and never really got too in-depth with it. I kind of learned some things as I went along. I really wanted to learn more of the ins and outs, especially the plug-ins. This was absolutely a fantastic course. There were a handful of very useful features, customizations and shortcuts I learned that I didn't know about. Also, the explanations about the various plug-ins were fantastic. I've always struggled with things like compression and side-chaining and they became very clear to me after taking this course. I'm not on Cubase Pro 13 yet, but that seems to have a lot of cool new features and hope some new videos get added for those.

I've used Cubase for some simple projects but needed to understand it much better. I am happy I took it as I now have a more solid foundation to keep going with new and more involved composing projects. Perhaps the only thing I would have liked to see is the use of the notation editor from Cubase 12 -- my workflow is from hand notation to score editor to midi (basically, notation paper to Dorico to Cubase) so a video on the built-in notation editor in Cubase would have been welcome. Most importantly, I had questions along the way and Milan was prompt in answering them -- it's obvious he cares about his students and even solicits feedback to constantly improve his course. He gets all five stars from me.

No stone unturned. Every single question I was to ask, it was brought up and answered in the videos. I can not recommend enough this course, it got me a solid foundation for every single skill needed to start a confident journey with Cubase. Before that, I was in a chaotic state watching YouTube videos that have the same problem no matter who does it: there is no order of where to start and what to learn first. If you are serious about music production, this course will set you free from any doubts about starting a career with Cubase.

If you are a beginner with Cubase and signal processing you’ll learn a fair amount. It’s well presented and most ideas are well explained. However, if you have some previous experience you will find this course very basic. It certainly does not take you to a “pro” level. Loads of things are not covered at all. There is no mention of the various midi and audio recording modes, logical edit, the sample track, VCA fader tracks etc. it really should be retitled as a basic introduction to Cubase for complete beginners. If that’s what you need then it will be useful. If you’ve used Cubase for more than a few months you will know most of these things already.
