This is a grammar course first and everything else second. The syllabus shows 83 sections and 726 lectures, and nearly all the section titles are single grammar points: simple past, present perfect, modal verbs, countable nouns, comparative adjectives. Each one gets four lectures and 26 to 75 minutes, with a worksheet and a dialogue to show the rule in use. It is aimed at non-native speakers who can already read basic English and want the rules explained slowly and in order. At about 83 hours it is a long haul, and the course has been growing since 2019 with an update as recent as August 2026.

Scott Mendoza, teaching under the Langpill name, gets steady praise for pace. One beginner says he speaks slowly and uses simple words, and one Hindi speaker says she understands every word. Others like the detail and the way rules are broken into small lessons. The complaints are specific. One three-star reviewer says the tests are bunched at the end, feel overwhelming, and get predictable. Another says the woman's voice in some of the lessons drives him crazy, though a different student likes the AI speaker for pronunciation. A one-star review wanted spoken practice and found only basic grammar. One iPad user could not find the handout the video points to.

The IELTS prep course targets a score, and the sentence structure course sticks to one thing.
