Complete Katalon Studio 2020 for Web + API Test Automation (Udemy.com)

there is a grammatical error on the Katalon home page, not his fault, but he should at least acknowledge it so we know he pays attention to software. Also, it is kinda funny that the testing software homepage has an error on it.

The course should be updated with the correct links (try https://automationexercise.com/ instead of the one in the course) and some bits are out-of-date (there are 5 selection methods now, the quiz question answer on this is 4). I got a little lost in the last 3rd, and would have liked more detail on the last 20% or so. The course could be 1/3 shorter if there wasn't as much wait time while actions are being performed. This would make a great 3-hour hands-on course with a streamlined step-by-step manual. I think my comments put me in the minority, but they are what they are. Definitely worth it for beginners, but I'll be taking another to fill in some gaps.

This just a refresher for an up coming assignment. I have used Katalon several years prior to build a test suit that allowed Manual QA to assist with the automation of a UI based website. Good content at a pace for anyone at any level of experience.

In this course, it is directly showing how t work on katalon studio. But not given proper understanding like web element which is under dropdown that how we can use and what is the meaning of those web element. Also, not given understanding of spy web and script mode functionality.

Clear, well-paced, comprehensive. This course has thus far filled in small gaps from previous training that affected my ability to diagnose or fix issues I had with test cases and test objects. 3 years ago I gave up on using Katalon to test a COTS product my agency bought because of breakdowns in tests that I anticipate can be overcome now that I've learned more about how Katalon SHOULD be used. I hope this course addresses other troublesome issues I had to fix through trial and error, so I look forward to what the next half delivers.

A good compact course with which to learn the basics of Katalon and the possiblities that Katalon can offer. It is important here to frequently pause the videos do the exercises and make sure you understand what is going on. A good start if you want to go further into the scripting etc.

This is one of the most well taught Udemy courses I've taken. The instructor is fantastic - he explains everything beautifully, includes incredibly helpful organizational tips/best practices, and is super responsive. The content is perfect for a brand new Katalon user - I really quickly ramped up to feeling confident being able to jump right in and start using this product in my role. GREAT course.
