The course content itself was great! Learned lots and covered a wide range of topics, which is awesome! The issue I had was the homework assignments. Very frustrating. Most of the assignments didn't have dataset loaded in the files, so you can't physically work with the dataset you're supposed to be using for the assignments. Homework was also very unorganized. I wish someone had told me prior to signing up because one of my interests in taking this course was that it had lot's of practice problems. If you're newer to SAS/coding then it may be difficult/frustrating like it was for me. Would definitely recommend if you soley/mainly want to learn to content: beginner friendly, wide range of functions/areas, which is great! If you want practice, maybe find it elsewhere.

This is a perfect course for beginners, as it presents SAS basics selected based on author's professional experience. It is filled with practical examples and use cases. I also found the homework very helpful in verifying the level of my understanding. All pretty nicely organized. I have deducted half a star, because the course is not a complete one. It misses some details (e.g. in the types of data merging, formats and informats) which had to look up in a different course (I can recommend Eduemaster on Youtube). Anyway, thank you for this course, it was close to perfect for my needs.

Above expectations. It's been amazing to figure out how many functions there are. I've working with SAS for 3 years, and I can say that I knew very few possibilities to structure a query. It was never "necessary" to know , actually. All tasks were being done. However, in many more steps. The great thing here is that in my team nobody knows that much. Now, I can do many different stuff and it will be good for my career for sure. Thanks a lot, hope to hear and chat to you. Lukas

Wow!!! This is the most comprehensive SAS introductory course I have seen and I have seen quite a number (both paid for on Udemy and free on Youtube). The course does not only cover almost all the course's (basic - intermediate) topics but it did it in depth that even with my prior knowledge, I got to know more granular details of syntax, statements, and functions with reasons. This is obviously a well spent dollar for me. The instructor displays highly understanding of the subject both in course content and the delivery he his definitely a subject matter expert. Apart from the missing audio in some of the courses, the instructor's total neglect of questions submitted is disappointing. It will be appreciated if the instructor or his rep(s) could attend to student questions promptly to aid student learning.

This course is simply superb to learn or refresh all the SAS related skills and it offers variety of examples with source feed to execute to understand the function of each keyword in data and proc steps. Few things needs to be addressed in this course are - Lecture 62 and 65 has only Audio and NO visual content - Lecture 88 and couple of other around this lecture has has the output Zoom out of view. - Last Lecture before Home Work Solutions has Visual content but NO audio content. Apart from this, this course offers short and sweet examples to run and learn those by seeing the output. Its great.

The course is very good, it covers the main topics of working with SAS language. However, it does not use SAS software as I thought, but WPS, a competitor software that uses exactly the same programming language of SAS, but does not have all the same features. For instance, the project manager window and project structure are quite different. Moreover, WPS does not allow to see the properties of the tables, in the same way, SAS does (e.g. copy and paste variables characteristics to dashboard, what is really useful when working with datasets with several of variables, as I do). SAS also has a very complete "point and click" menu that helps us building sample syntax, which WPS appears to do not have. Overall, the course was really good, I was more used to work with PROC SQL, and now I can also try to advance in DATA STEP and other PROCs. But this is not exactly a course of SAS software, but of SAS program language.

- The Tutor's Voice is very good and attractive. - Slide show are prepared very well. - Little bit disappointed about Homework There is no explanation about the Homework Solution, just Post the .pdf file. Also, we cant know the homework map to which chapter. - Also, For the terms explanation, it seems to be just about definition, it is better if the class can demonstrate the difference in code. - It is better if there are summary section in the end of each Section. - Data Set is different to tutorial in many place. - Some solution is wrong.

One of the most complex courses in SAS out there. The instructor gives amazing examples. The English is perfect and the instructor definitely put a lot of effort in this course. You;ll need to input a lot of time (about 20 hours minimum), but without practice you can't learn SAS programming. This course is ideal for anybody that has a grip of Data Analytics, but wants to know SAS language. I will recommend it to all my friends in DS!

Good information, good examples. 3.5/5 stars for two reasons: 1. The exercises are unorganized (the homeworks do not match up with the sections), making it difficult to practice the material 2. The course requires students to watch videos of solutions as opposed to providing PDFed solutions, but the videos do not elaborate on the solutions, they merely scroll through the very PDF that wasn't provided for whatever reason. The course would be a 5/5 course if these two issues were corrected.

Even I just watched the first lecture, but I think that the contents of this class is very detailed and organized. Also, the teacher is cool so that easy to follow him! The class teaches a wide range of SAS functionality with many practical examples. I Highly recommend it!
