My 1st complaint is it’s prounouned ‘AT-tri-bute’ not ‘at-TRIB-ute‘ when used as a noun. It’s only at-TRIB-ute when used a verb. I know it sounds nit picky but when you’re teaching a paid class being able to properly describe the items your working with is rather important and it was distracting being repeatedly mispronounced throughout the course. My second complaint is there are course contents out of order. 107. Create a basic visualforce controller is in Section 26 LWC. It should instead be within Section 22 Visualforce Pages, where the standard controllers and custom components are discussed or Section 24 Visualforce Controllers. As well 71. Subscribe to platform events is within section 17 Asynchronous Apex and should instead be in Section 15 Platform Events ahead of 65. Publish Platform Events. There may be others as well, i skipped the sections i was already familiar with. There needs to be a review to make sure the course is in order. In 73. Invocable methods there was an upsert action within a for loop. Even as a demo that should never be done. It was very very briefly mentioned within 53. DML statements that you shouldn’t do that and it was disappointing to see a build being done with a very obvious issue in regards to bulkification. Overall did i enjoy the course? not really. Was it the worst thing I ever watched? No, but would I recommend it to someone looking to learn to code, definitely not. Outside of the issues above, i don't feel like any of the concepts were explained particularly well. The repeated, im showing this now but we'll talk about it in another section made it feel like the course content wasn't really thought out. As well any of the concepts I wasn't familiar with before this course, i don't feel like I'm any significantly more knowledgeable on than i was before. I'm left wondering where i go to actually learn about the topics enough to use them. And i certainly don't feel like i could pass the Dev 1 exam after watching the content.

I appreciate your approach. It's clear and effective. As a .NET developer, I can relate to the code you're writing. I'm following along, and while I understand the concepts, I recognize the need for continued practice to improve my speed and efficiency.

This course, it is supposed to help with the certification exam preparation, but i have seen a bunch of question till now and i would still not be able to answer them. This course is only good for a quick refresh of what you have seen on trailhead. It doesn't offer extra theoretical needed knowledge for the exam.

This course is delivered in an easy to understand way. It covers enough of the basics, without getting too out of scope for the purposes of passing the exam. Some stuff was a little basic for me, as I've been working as a salesforce developer for some time and am studying to ensure there are no knowledge gaps before I sit the exam. But, otherwise, I'd definitely recommend this course to anyone preparing to sit the exam.

This course is clear, concise and logically presented. The material is all totally relevant for the PD1 exam and fully upto date. There are also 7 challenges and solutions giving you hands on experience. I would highly recommend it!

Great course, a ton of information. It is missing information though. Would love to see a better breakdown of each section aligned to each section in the certification. 1. Developer Fundamentals 2. Process Automation & Logic 3. User Interface 4. Testing, Debugging and Deployment Would be good in each section to talk about what we are learning and how that would reflect on the test.

Beautiful course, well structured and articulated with hands-on examples so that the students don't need to memorize things for the PD1 exam. Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to similar courses on more advanced concepts in Salesforce as i'm planning for Data and Sharing/Visibility architect certifications in the next 3-6 months

I really enjoyed this course and felt like it taught me a lot. The dev best practices that Aaron includes into his lessons are very helpful as it directly aligns with a lot of the practices taught by the seasoned developer on my team. The one critique I have is that I felt like I came out of this course a much better Apex developer but not so much when it comes to VF and LWC/Aura. My gained familiarity with OOP concepts in Apex were difficult to transition over to the JavaScript dominant LWC framework. I cannot wait to take the JavaScript dev course when it comes out.

This course has gone beyond my expectation, I can't guarantee that covers all the topics from Cert Platform Dev I, but I have learnt a lot of programmatic solutions, since I've been dealing with functional development and zero programmatic, this has helped a lot.

I liked the course, my only observation is regarding LWC and Aura lessons which can be complicated for someone new. I think that mayve using PPT or some other artifact could help in explaining how files are connected with one another etc
