The course was very useful and covered many important Splunk administration topics. However, I was expecting some additional advanced topics to be included, especially: * License Pool configuration and management * Indexer Cluster configuration and management * HTTP Event Collector (HEC) configuration Adding these topics with practical, hands-on examples would make the course more complete and valuable, especially for those preparing for real-world Splunk administration.

Great course. The explanations are clear, detailed, and the hands-on labs help a lot to understand how Splunk actually works (data onboarding, props.conf, transforms.conf, parsing, etc.). It also covers concepts that are very useful for Splunk certifications, since many topics shown in the labs reflect the kind of scenarios and configurations you need to understand for the exams. Overall a very practical and well-structured course.

Course could be even more organized. Does not cover, how to create a Search head cluster, Cluster manager, Deployer, License manager. Forwarder topologies should have been demoed. Had to do a lot of self learning outside this course as well to get a proper full understanding. Overall its a good course but definitely could have been better.

This is the best organized course I have seen to administer Splunk, I couldn't capture all the concepts from the first time definitely you will need to run this course again 2 or 3 times to grasp all the concepts and do all the labs, thank you Saif for this amazing course.

it was technically satisfying, no accent, found own mistakes and corrected, among the lessons after distributed environment set-up on AWS, I got mostly lost between transitions from one instance to another, and from one app to another, there must be a simpler way to instruct it. It will be good as well if instructor can monitor the Q&A parts. I recommend a wrap-up talk at the end with some proposals on how to get prepared to splunk admin exam. some sample data can be provided to learners, or shown the way so that they can implement lab as well. I will recommend to anyone but pay more attention after Lesson 53 (Deploy Splunk Enterprise)

I'm hoping to take the Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin exam in a few weeks, and this has definitely helped raise my confidence level.

Beautifully Explained in Detail. One key element of this course is : almost all the lab topics are covered through CLI, which is actually the Industry requirement and that how knowledge becomes clear about file paths and exactly what is happening inside. A good course that provides a very good overview. Very pleasant to listen to and follow along. It would be better if you did not have to type the commands and this was also part of the documentation. The last LABs drag on a bit as the environments are built in AWS. If you know AWS, you can skip it.

This course is the best on Udemy for Admin content! Take advantage of learning through Saif's teaching approach, which is teaching from experience, and leverage that knowledge to advance your career. Traditional Admin courses taught by Splunk Education dont even come close to the knowledge covered in this course. Well done, Saif! Looking forward to the next course.

I really like the course because it explains the theory very well by showing how the concepts apply through practical demonstrations and even just explaining the concepts in the whiteboard with all the components drawn and the flows between the components. I would recommend this course for anyone who is interested in Splunk as this course provides a lot of details to better understand what would be involved in working in a Splunk Role, and for anyone who is in a Splunk Administrator role - this would be a very good course to help them develop an even better understanding or just to refresh their knowledge and maybe learn a few new things.
