CompTIA A+ (220-1001) Test Prep, Exams and Simulations (Udemy.com)

I'm writing this review moments after passing my Comptia A+ 1001 exam and I highly recommend this course. The practice exams, the PBQ's, the test strategies not only made a huge impact my study efforts but allowed me to take the Comptia A+ 1001 exam with confidence. This course is well made and structured to help any students looking to practice for the Comptia A+ 1001 exam without feeling loss or confused and is one of the best resources out there.

You turned my patience to retain information through insight and kindness to receive your holy word of encouragement - while I was receiving your kindness via udemy, you also showed me what were distractors such pata - pata connector/floppy drive connector and ide, fazed-out agp for new PCI, rare PCIe x8 and PCIx4, the 3 fans of the systems and one of the CPU, power and CPU connectors closed to their respective locations/continents, etc,. I thought the information was good while taking the course. But when I took my exam, I failed. This review has nothing to do with the regular comptia a+ training material, since this course is mainly PBQs. My regular training material was from Mike Meyers's Udemy course, and that wasn't sufficient enough for the exams either; since I failed. The test I took had email and wireless configurations on it. Both email and wireless in this course, did not cover enough for me to get that portion 100% correct. There were other PBQs on the comptia exam, but they weren't covered in this course, which messed me up even more. It was technically 1 extra PBQs question, but it had 3 separate parts/pages that looked nothing alike and none of it was covered in this course. It sucks, because I only failed by like 30 points. But considering both courses didn't prepare me enough, I guess I'm glad I failed(minus the money lost lol). I rather get better material and pass my courses with lasting knowledge, than get a job based on a low scored exam pass, and not know what I'm doing in the real world. Despite all of this, the way this trainer explains things, makes them easier for me to understand. I think if he went in full detail to cover every objective on the exam, or at least every PBQs objective and possibility, it would be an easy 5 star. I've listened to several comptia a+ trainers just to hear how they teach, and Jason's explanations were the best to me personally; thus far. What he did teach, I understood. It just lacked information. So my rating is based on this course, not the trainer himself.

This is an absolutely amazing review if you are short on time to cover the exam objectives. I used this along with the online book I received when I Purchased my certification voucher and they were a prefect combination. Thanks to Dion I was able to pass my Core 1 on my first attempt.

This course truly was beyond my expectations. It is designed for AFTER you have done all of your studying elsewhere, and are about to take the test. In this particular thing, it excels. The two practice tests alone are worth the price of the course, but it goes beyond that with all the test taking methodologies, strategies and tips, and PBQ lessons. For the price I paid this course was an incredible value, and I feel so much more confident about testing after competing it.

Great material. Love the overview of the domains as they coalign with the exam objecives on the real CompTIA A+ test. Clarity and attention to detail is what makes this course highly recommended .Ive built an insane amount of confidence through these videos and now i am on my way to book the real exam. I just passed my 1001 test and I believe this heavily evened the odds when it comes to what to look for on the test. Jason doesn't waste your time he gets straight to the nitty gritty. You should be somewhat knowledgeable about the 1001 before attending this course, I watched all of Professor Messer's 1001 videos and read Mike Meyers A+ book. (You can get by without the book, if you already understand the core concepts) This course is worth the money if you feel hesitant at all about testing.

I Passeed my core 1 at 3rd attempt, only because of Jason Dion's techiniques and practice tests, He has a very particular way of teaching, which suited me and passed with a score of 770, thank you so much Jason and Tamera. I especially like the PBQ section, where he makes you understand the bascis, so once you understand it, no matter what comes in your actual exam you will pass with flying colours. You guys are doing great work in putting up these courses, which reflect so close to the actual exams. To any student who is reading this review, do not think twice, take this course, stick to what he says and you will pass !!

I was looking more for content, rather than how to take a test.

Makes compilated topics like RAID easier to understand.
