Yes, It is an excellent course and a lot of great effort and thought was put into the course. I would just asked for some of the resources to be updated. Example: Update the Dion Training templets they are to large and are not formated correctly. I printed 40 out at the library for $4.00 dollars and the prints dimensions were to large and not formated to 11in x 8.5in, which is the normal dimensions for printed documents. Please correct this for future users. Thanks - Richard

I passed with a score of 760+ first time which was fantastic and the course was definitely worth the money. As someone with 0 experience in tech however I found that there was a lot of acronyms and base knowledge that was sort of assumed the student already knew. I had to stop a number of times and google terms or bits of kit that weren't fully explained. I can understand if this were to happen on a more advanced course but as a foundational course it would be helpful to treat the student as if they know nothing at all. Also, it would be nice to have longer knowledge check tests at the end of each module to better test the student or to randomly generate a variety of module relevant questions if you want to resit the knowledge checks so you don't just memorise the answers and nothing sinks in. Secondly, the PBQ's in the practice tests are nothing at all like the ones in the actual test. If I hadn't done further research on YouTube I would've been completely blindsided and it could've thrown me off the rest of the exam. It would be worth having a video going through some DionTraining made PBQ's showing what they at least might look like or how they are formatted in the actual test. That being said, the content was easy to understand and the multi choice portion of the practice tests was incredibly helpful for the actual test. Still worth the money and very useful as a tool but not perfect in regards to PBQ's.

Ive attempted to watch videos from other instructors youtube, find some guides or something to help. But this has by far passed my expectations of what this course would be like. Barely into it and its been 10x easier to listen to and follow. Plus along with the practice tests for core 1 and core 2. (Update) I'm halfway through the course. Will say, there is a lot of information, and its up to you to take away the info that's necessary. Recommend practice tests to see what the test will be like. and really focusing on the important information. It can be tough, but highly recommend this course

It's not bad. More questions at the end of a chapter would be nice as 6 is fairly low. Also one of the questions found in the section 14: Network Configurations had information learned in Section 15....so it included info about the URL portion of HTTPS or HTTP and asked about FQDN not ever explaining that the FQDN is only www.domain.com or whatever versus including HTTP:// as the URL isn't FQDN. Thanks!

It's a lot of good information that is mostly presented well, but some videos are wall-to-wall acronyms where it will take me 20+ minutes to get through an 8 minute video because I am pausing to write notes every few seconds. Also it bothers me that some of the chapter quizzes ask questions on material that has not been covered yet, which makes me wonder if they were repurposed from a previous version of the course. Lastly the hands-on videos that show the process of installing various PC components are not always well-filmed in the close-up details, to the point where I would likely not know what he is attempting to show if I was not already familiar with building computers.

Really good course that thoroughly covers all the objectives in an incredible amount of detail. Jason gives you a lot more information than is needed for the course but it is important as it gives you the context to understanding the more complicated concepts. I found the course engaging and interesting and I passed first time with an 831 out of 900 because of it!

This course has been very helpful for me. I'm more of a visual learner though I find Jason's videos to be helpful because each lesson is a very thorough introduction into what you'll be seeing on the exam and I've been having a great time understanding all of these topics unlike other studying attempts. It's also really nice to be able to have each lesson summarized at the end of each video and having a checkpoint quiz for each lesson.

Dion Training goes above and beyond what's required to pass CompTIA exams. The courses include practical demonstrations and cover more than just the basics, helping prepare you for real-world IT scenarios. Jason explains the material clearly and thoroughly, using relevant examples to provide a broad understanding of each topic. I highly recommend these courses!!

The good points: - Extensive explanation and passing on experience from the lecturer's work expertise. - The examples given during the course give time for the brain to catch-up and understand thoroughly, instead of dishing out information sequentially to save up time and rush the course. The drawback: - More illustrations are needed across multiple sections of the course, as an example the storage devices troubleshooting section where some illustrations can improve the understanding of behind the scenes mapping of boot sector and process loading, and so in some heavily detailed process behind the scenes. Thank you Mr. Dion for your effort in this course.

I believe it was a great match with no experience. I was provided with a clear lay out of the Objectives, as it was mentioned at the beginning of this course. I gained far more knowledge that actually stuck with me. Before finding this course, I was watching Youtube Videos, and taking complete notes. I found myself more confused about topics at the end of Objectives. Thanks to The Dion team, I have confidence now !!
