I used this course as a supplement to CompTia A+ for Dummies 4th ed, the course is an introduction to the A+ certification. I think you will need a text book to supplement this course. The course alone will not prepare you for the A+ certification. However, I found the course helpful to my studies, the instructor's voice was clear and pleasant and easy to understand.

The process of obtaining my comptia a+ with little to no experience was very imitating, but after taking this course two months ago, I feel way more confident . The instructor made me feel comfortable and in control of the learning process. In all honesty there wasn't anything to complain in regards to his teaching style. I can not wait to take the test in a few weeks.

Really enjoying the course so far and feel its worth the money. The course covers more material and provides more knowledge than other courses I've taken on Udemy. However the instructor does go start to go a little fast in some sections and leaves me wondering is he skimming over the material because it's not all that important and he was just making a side note? Several times I've had to switch it to x.75 speed so I can follow what he is saying and make notes. Also, sometimes his descriptions do not follow a consist lay out, which for me at least, is frustrating and leaves my notes jumbled. Just being picky I know, really only meant to be constructive criticism for the instructor. However, he does explain things in detail and is very clear. You just may have to toggle between x1 and x.75 speed sometimes ;)

I just took the 220-801 and got an 852 out of 900. I have been working in the computer industry and going to school for the past year but this course was my primary training tool focused on the exam itself. This is a great course that covers the material in the exam in a straightforward, easy to understand manner. It's much better than other sources I looked into.

The instructor's firsthand experience of many years was very helpful!. Topics in TCP/IP were very well explained and the Prohibited Content Handling section was extremely valuable! Area for improvement: The only item this course was missing was a more in-depth PDF outline of the charts, pictures, and lectures that were covered. This would have been extremely helpful in preparing for the study. The few outlines included it this course was very limited. I went through the course twice, the second time, was to take screenshots of valuable instructions, especially pictures and tables that should have been included for further study. :-) Overall, a great instructor with the many valuables insights that make this course very valuable, not only for the test, but for career development. I was very impressed with Mark Long and his great insights and easy to follow teaching methods. I will be seeking additional courses from this awesome instructor for my future learning!

Yes, yes and yes. The course so far is everything I need it to be. Not too much talking. I like the fact that he gets straight to the point. Things I need to kow to pass the exam. I haven't finished both courses just yet so perhaps I may be speaking to early but so far so good. 5stars. Love the price as well. Thank you for that Udemy and Infinite skills.

Very easy to understand and follow. It simplifies concepts and terminologies by providing relate-able analogies. However, was expecting a bit more details so that supplementary materials may not be necessary. Additionally, I am having the challenge of not being able to stop and rewind each lecture and is only able to pause lectures. It would be a time saver if I am able to rewind the lectures to a certain point and time without have to restart the videos from the very beginning. Uncertain if it's only me experiencing this issue, minor, but time consuming to have to re-watch the entire lecture just to revise a specific explanation or comment.

I was able to study this for $10 and it was well worth it (although not worth $100 as there are free study resources available but I would highly recommend it. The videos provide very detailed explanations of how many concepts work without being too technical. I'm confident I will be able to pass the exam with this combined with a complete study book and a few other online resources.

Pretty good course compared to the ones thats out there for the A+ exam. The instructor is easy to understand and not boring. He goes over most of what is on the Exam as of 7/18/2015 but there is some information missed but its easy to look up from other sources. Overall I would recommend this course because its goes over most of the basics needed to pass the exam.

The best experience ever with this instructor. He sounds great that you won't give up the course. You can feel the confident on his voice base on his knowledge and experience. However, It would be great if we could get some materials and exam questions on hand, that will be 5 stars course for me. BTW, this is my first course in IT that I've taken. I am actually an Aircraft Maintenance Technician with a strong interest to IT. So don't take my review so seriously based on that. I am happy with the instructor, anyway.. Cheers!
