CompTIA CySA+ (CS0-002) Complete Course & Practice Exam (Udemy.com)

I passed the CySA+ Certification exam after going through this video series twice. After passing the exam, I recommend purchasing the additional practice Q&A, because the Q&A practice questions from this video series alone got me over the top on my score. I believe that if I had additional questions to practice with, my score would have been even better.

This course was very helpful even though I also used some other materials to supplement my learning. I passed the exam but it was pretty scary. I flagged all 4 PBQs for review and when I came back to them, I was able to do one and had started with the second when my laptop died! (apparently, I was too engrossed to notice I was disconnected from my power source). I was close to tears and had resolved I was going to buy new materials for Cysa+003 and start preparation all over, when I got a call from the exam proctor. I explained what happened and I was told I would get a feedback in two days. The very next day, I got a mail from CompTIA, letting me know I had passed! I never can tell what happened, but it appears I had gotten most of my answers correct, to the point that I passed even with 2 and a half PBQs left. Many thanks to Jason and team!

Passed my CYSA+ 002 exam Saturday 7/22/2023 and honestly I would not have been able to pass it without Jason Dion getting me started. If you're a beginner in IT, I highly recommend you do his course first before doing any reading material. He breaks down everything in an easy to understand format and he's very easy to listen too, I would listen to him on my way to work. The only criticism I have is that he should list things that he speaks about that are beyond the scope of the exam in the video description. Other than that a great resource and I rate him 9.5/10.

Jason Dion's Courses are just purely amazing. -Organized in a coherent manner -Jason Dion always mentions REAL WORLD application and tells you extra information that isn't on the exam, but still note worthy in the work force. -Jason Dion speaks clearly and fluently. I play the videos on 1.5x speed. -Practice exams are SO SO SO critical for really solidifying all the studying and learning you've done. And Jason Dion always creates at least 6 practice exams to bundle along side his course I've passed numerous certifications just using his Udemy Course and his Udemy Practice Exam bundles. Love love LOVE Jason Dion courses. Worth every dollar.

Now that I've followed the course, passed the exam, and have a job in the field (I already did) I can attest to the course's value. As a hiring manager, frankly, a simple certificate of completion of this course alone has value, before the certification itself.

Some chapters contain a lot of theory, I get it, you need to know what to decide in some situations and you need that info, but there are a lot of technical chapters that could also go in a bit more detail and tool specifics, and actually even the more theory chapters could use some sort of real life examples or exposition of how the theory would apply in practice.

Hard to have a good answer for this before taking the exam, even to the extent that I find it find of annoying to fill this out before I can review the answers to the practice exam. I would say there are some mistakes, like moments where he reads the same sentence multiple times in a row, and sometimes the delta between two concepts isn't clearly explained, but overall it's probably a good course.

The author was almost TOO thorough. He clarified what the exam expects but also let me know when he provided knowledge one should have in the profession, separate from the exam expectations. I now need to go through his practice exam package and get even more over-prepared!

One of Jason Dion's best courses. This video lecture series is the perfect learning supplement for a textbook of your choosing and offers a solid baseline knowledge for you to build upon as you work toward passing your CySA+ exam. Highly recommend it. I used a plethora of different video lectures and textbooks, but after recently sitting in for the exam, I feel that this resource was one of the stronger ones and a major contributor to my passing grade. Another great course by Dion Training! Definitely one of the more thorough instructors on this site. There's real effort here and Jason Dion's a great instructor. I highly recommend this course to anyone who's serious about attempting the CySa+ or is a Cybersecurity enthusiast who enjoys taking online, video courses.

There should be a book to go along with this training. For visual based learning, at times, can be hard for students to retain. Having a physical book could help improve the quality and efficiency of this course.

The videos were focused on the most important information needed to pass the exam and the practice quiz also helps to prepare.
