Course Description

Computer Vision Applications on Raspberry Pi is a beginner course on the newly launched Raspberry Pi 4 and is fully compatible with Raspberry Pi 3/2 and Raspberry Pi Zero.

The course is ideal for those new to the Raspberry Pi and who want to explore more about it.

You will learn the components of Raspberry Pi, connecting components to Raspberry Pi, installation of the NOOBS operating system, basic Linux commands, Python programming and building Image Processing applications on Raspberry Pi and the basics of neural networks.

This course will take beginners without coding skills to a level where they can write their own programs.

The basics of Python programming language are well covered in the course.

Building Computer Vision applications are taught in the simplest manner, which is easy to understand.

Users can quickly learn hardware assembly and coding in Python programming for building Computer Vision applications.   By the end of this course, users will have enough knowledge about Raspberry Pi, its components, basic Python programming, and execution of Image Processing applications in real-time scenarios.

The course is taught by an expert team of engineers having PhD and Postdoctoral research experience in Computer Vision and Deep Learning.

Anyone can take this course. No engineering knowledge is expected. The tutor has explained all required engineering concepts in the simplest manner.

The course will enable you to independently build Computer Vision applications using Raspberry Pi.

This course is the easiest way to learn and become familiar with the Raspberry Pi platform.

By the end of this course, users will build Image Processing applications which include scaling and flipping images, varying the brightness of images, performing bit-wise operations on images, blurring and sharpening images, thresholding, erosion and dilation, edge detection, and image segmentation. User will also be able to build real-world Image Processing applications, which includes real-time human face eyes nose detection, detecting cars in the video, real-time object detection, human face recognition, convolutional neural network and many more.

The course provides complete code for all Image Processing applications compatible with Raspberry Pi 3/2/Zero.

Very good, lot's of good information and a big help to me. I notice a problem that I've seen in other Udemy classes, that this is getting a little old, I think this was put out there about 5 years ago, and some of the instructions, in particular instructions for CVOpen install and other python packages are dated and don't work anymore. Not a problem for experienced people, but I'm a noob, and it's a problem for me.

Start it was boring, I was slow, since python is new to me, it kept me going, I crawled to get into zone of advancement sections. section 1 and 2 are good foundation. I think Build up is firm, it makes you strong, 3rd section takes you to another entry level into applying the processing section 4: projects are good. However I think, this was done in 2017, being in 2021, world moves tremendously every day every moment, new things are the place that have a lot of space, new learnings and projects, triggering responses by building haarcascade. developing haarcascade xml is an definite area. I liked much the course overall.

I think that it'll be great if the codes would have been better explained, because some details are overlooked, and as a beginner its kind of complicated to understand everything perfectly. Anyway its such a great course and I will highly recommend it.

It is nice and well structured course which provides you with necessary basic knowledge to start working with OpenCV on Raspberry Pi platform. However, for deeper understanding of the topic you may need to look through additional materials (provided in the course or elsewhere on the web) or apply for one more course related to Image Processing domain.

The course was Clear, Precise and Informative. Every concept was well taught. I Thank the Instructor for teaching concepts in Very Good Manner.

It is the first course that I purchased in the Udemy. It gave me more knowledge and pleasure and is very informative. The course is worth for money.

By Anders Käll on 2/9/2019

Contains what I needed to get started with OpenCV on RPi. Good content. The exercises are perhaps a bit repetetive, every exercise more or less starts from scratch, ignoring that the previous exercise was quite similar.

Yes the course is matching to me and I am knowing the program knowledge in basics and awaiting for Image Processing programming is it will be easy to grab or not. But the voice is very low and it has some disturbance in clarity.

all courses in udemy must be like this .Codes must be given very useful to follow......pls other courses who dont follow this approach follow this one..

By SERGIO SENA on 1/10/2018

Bom curso até o momento. Bem detalhado. Ainda estou no começo....aguardo capítulos interessantes.
