Nicolas spends his days hand lettering for both large and small brands, from Fortune 500 companies to local coffee shops. Regardless of the size of the project he's working on, he's passionate about getting into the nitty-gritty with letterforms. His interest was born when he became an avid analyzer of typography. He took a deeper interest than a lot of his fellow students at the time, and this was reflected in his work. The more he pushed himself, the more he realized his limitations and the greater need for creating letters from scratch. Throughout his design career, he's spent thousands of hours studying and creating letters. Nicolas enjoys helping other passionate people learn. He's glad to be a resource to help students become experienced hand letterers at a fast pace. He believes that hand lettering is an essential tool for all designers, and therefore, a tool that everyone should know how to use. Your client pays you to solve a problem, or to create a solution for them. Justice can't always be served by laying the company's name out in a trendy font. Design is more than that, and hand lettering is the first place to start.

This course has not included more concepts about logo design . Only one logo is made but it is not good for learning logo design to see only one concept or design. Including creating more logo design that will help very understand the process.

It is really great to see some professional creating logo

good, But I thought it would be more interesting. To be honest the the videos were a bit monotonous. and hardly found anything special or new compared to the regular handlettering and vector tracing tutorials available in the youtube.

I thought we would learn more about calligraphy and as it says in the tittle I thought we would learn more hand writing styles and practice some techniques in paper by hand. This course is only possible if you have already a great calligraphy background. I would love this course if was given to us exercises on how to write in different styles, like a pdf with alphabet so we could track our hand writing has he says he did to improve his skills. I would name this course 'How to vector a logo created in Procreate' . But really love to learn new skills and I really want to explore more with new courses.
