Course Description
This course helps you to understand digital illustration. I am sharing with you my own workflow, everything I do to create an original digital illustrations.
Are you good with your hands, but were always afraid to start the digital drawing process? This course is for you! I explain everything and I help you to find your own comfortable workflow.
We start with getting the ideas on paper with a single pencil. Sketching is a very important part of the illustration process! Then we take the digitalized image to Adobe Illustrator to create the vector elements of our drawing. You can scan your sketch or you can take a photo by phone, it doesn't matter at this point.
And last but not least we will use Adobe Photoshop to really bring the drawing alive, by giving it texture and a unique atmosphere! Like fog, motion blur etc. Also using the layers can help a lot to reach our idea.
I will share all my tips and tricks during the process, but if you missed anything, please feel free to ask, I am here to teach!
Come and join the course and create amazing digital illustrations right now! Then don't forget to share it:)

Hello! My name is Peter. I'm an illustrator, motion designer.
I live in Vác, Hungary.
I work as motion designer at a leading commercial television channel in Hungary.
I create digital paintings and illustrations in Photoshop, Procreate, Illustrator. I usually work on iPad. I love traditional techniques like pastel and oil.
One of the most important things for me is to create atmospheric scenes with impressionistic lights and a lovely story.

After completing the course, I must say I really enjoyed it and immersed myself completely! I sometimes couldn't hear all the instructions properly, but managed to follow along and learned some really useful things along the way! I especially loved the way the instructor used a lot of time-saving techniques to achieve maximum results! Recommended!

First up, it's amazing to be able to sit and watch a pro in action from the beginning to the end of an artistic creation like this. Just by watching, you pick up on so many handy learnings, not only about technical strategies for achieving this sort of composition, but the small artistic tactics used to bring about mood and atmosphere. So watching this come about before your eyes is astounding, and that's also what restricts my rating a little: I think maybe too much time is spent just watching as the artist (who is incredible, incidentally) just goes about doing his thing, with a little less instruction than I'd hoped for. A particular area I think here that could be improved upon is just some explanation of why a particular colour was chosen or an effect was applied. Despite this, I'd recommend this course because you do learn so much. And you feel by the end of it that you might just be able to create something like the astonishing cosy illustration Peter builds from scratch before your very eyes.

The course is very well organise and gives a method in order to produce landscape illustrations with Illustrator and Photoshop, with a little bonus at the end with After Effect. This course is for beginners (useful to practice with pen tool and get familiar with illustrator) and for intermediate as well because it gives you a very good inspiration and tips with Illustrator. The composition and colours are very pleasant.

This is a good course by a professional artist. What you get to see is a real world application of Illustrator and Photoshop to create a high quality illustration. Essentially it offers exposure to this artist's workflow, which in turn demonstrates the time taken and methodology needed to create art of this type. I found it to be very useful.

A really great and thorough course showing you in detail, step-by-step, how to create such a beautiful piece of artwork. I can't wait to go through this tutorial for a second time and practice creating my own illustrations using the same techniques. I have no major complaints, but a few minor suggestions about how I think the course could be improved. Firstly, some of the speech was a bit tricky to understand. Not a lot, but sometimes I would have to go back and listen again, once or twice. The music got a bit repetitive. For longer courses, perhaps add some variation with more relaxing music :) I would love to hear your thought process some more. And any suggestions on how we could make our own work more atmospheric (the atmospheric leaves are one of my favourite elements of this illustration!) Thanks Peter for such a great course. I hope to see more like this in the future. Great work, friend!

It has been very informative, now I understand the process of digital art from start to end and the bonus lesson on 3D is also very interesting. As an amateur in digital art, I would have like more explanation as to why certain shades or textures were used i.e. Gaussian blur etc. But I guess it is something I need to read and learn from books or art class.

This was a quite beautiful video and it was a pleasure to watch the presenter work. However, it would have been more valuable if he had spoken more. The music was beautiful, but I did fall asleep a few times watching late at night. I was expecting more instruction, but I'm not unhappy to have purchased it. I will certainly try other videos from this talented designer. I just hope he talks more. Lovely accent, btw.

A very enjoyable lesson. Loved the soothing background music and the artist has a pleasing voice and style of speech. The chosen style of illustration is a favorite of mine, with cartoon elements, and simple suggestive details. It's a treat, too, to see the techniques of a professional using Adobe Illustrator, and very interesting in how it can differ from other artist's techniques seen in Udemy or other places. To satisfy a wider audience, I recommend that the artist begin his lesson with an in-detail view of some of the trickier steps that will he will use in the project; for instance, how he uses the pathfinder tools, and then make reference to the technique when he is actually using it. I hope to see more from Peter Nagy.

I loved this course! I'm an artist who works in traditional media and I wanted to see the entire process starting with a sketch and rendering it digitally. I'm somewhat familiar with (especially) Photoshop and Illustrator, so I'm not a complete beginner. This was perfect for how I like to learn: just show me how to do it! Once I started watching I was completely hooked. Many thanks to the artist for sharing his professional techniques!
