1) I can understand the instructor through his explanations. 2) Being able to see game design and development through a new perspective instead of trying online research alone. 3) Receiving additional knowledge and terminology not found in other places without extensive research. 4) Being able to have reminders at the beginning of the course. 5) Finally, I have Autism, and the instructor has a lesson plan and reminds that I can always contact him or support if I become stuck at a certain juncture.

Overall it was a good course, i'm satisfied with it and will look into additioal courses by this person. I'm a begginer so imparted knowledge was good enough to start my game creation journey. The teacher uses examples while going through different topics which is good as it allows for theoretical things to be easier to capture. However, a suggestions; check, verify and correct the subtitles since at times there are things said that are not accurately captured in the subtitles. Havig said that, super happy with taking this course and starting my own journey!

Very good overview of both video games and board games development. Lots of examples, materials and useful information. Sometimes the instructor seems to be trying to remember what example he wanted to present, so the delivery could be improved a bit I think ... The instructor should use real sound effects instead of trying to imitate sounds with his mouth as it seems he can only do one sound effect ;-) Construct 2 is only Windows (I have a Mac) and retired, the prototyping videos could be redone to focus on Construct 3 or another game engine ... Overall the production quality is good, no real problems, the course delivers on its promises and is both enjoyable and very interesting!

Very thorough and gave me lots to think about. I especially appreciated the section on digital game genres, with genres ranked by difficulty (for developers). As someone getting started, this was indispensable.

So far the content has been pretty generic, not what I expected. I feel like the author of the course tried to throw in many concepts as filler in order to gain video time. Some of the information has been useful, but other areas have been poorly strctured and should have been either left out, or expanded upon.

I don't feel "mastering" the game design after this class. It is indicated "All Levels" despite the fact that it is just an introduction (it should be to "Beginners"). It is more like an inventory of what exists without explaining the best practices and WHY. There are some tips that I will keep but I do not feel empowered by the course. About the form, the sound isn't perfect, there are some montage mistakes and WAY TOO MUCH slide reading. Also 1 hour Construct 2 tutorial had nothing to do in a game design course...

Enfim no Geral super recomendo o curso.

This course had a wealth of information and good recourses. I felt like the board and table top game sections could be a course by it's self and the digital game part could be another course but I see why he combines them into one long course so this is easily a 4.5 star experience.
