As an experienced Learning & Development professional with an eLearning instructional design certification, I found this Articulate Rise course to be extremely valuable and well-executed. The course clearly demonstrates how to leverage Rise’s block-based design to create clean, responsive, and learner-centered experiences without compromising instructional quality. I especially appreciated the focus on layout decisions, interaction selection, accessibility considerations, and best practices for structuring content to support engagement and retention. The examples and walkthroughs made it easy to apply concepts immediately. This course is an excellent resource for both new and experienced designers looking to maximize the instructional impact of Articulate Rise.

Fantastic! Jeff is a brilliant narrator. He clearly explains exactly what he is doing on the screen and the reasoning behind his actions. The course is broken down into easy to digest chunks that are easy to go back and review if you need a knowledge refresh.

This is a great introduction course for Articulate Rise. I've used this tool for a couple of years, but I picked up a couple of tricks watching this course. I hope that someone will create an advanced Rise course that will dig deeper in adding storyblocks and design layout to make more dynamic courses. Jeff is a great instructor that makes his lessons easy to understand.

Great to get a refresh on RISE, the video's were at times fast paced, I would of benefited with slowing a few of the modules down and a more detailed explanation of why you would use for example CSS to amend elements in RISE, when you can change the font in the text block. I did however, gain a lot of knowledge throughout. it was very useful getting links to help with compressing video's and making the file smaller.

Over the past year, I have been using Rise, and I found the course to be helpful in refreshing my knowledge and addressing any areas where I lacked understanding. While the course was informative, I feel it could have been even more valuable if it had included a section on accessible design and how certain interactivities in Rise support or hinder it. Additionally, I think it would have been beneficial to have comprehensive examples of complex interactions like scenarios, sorting activities, or labeled graphics, along with guidance on when and how to best use them. Despite these suggestions, I genuinely enjoyed the course and appreciate the knowledge it provided.

Love how he shows how to access it, the differences between Articulate Rise and Rise.com and Storyline vs Rise - Plus I'm very happy I'll be creating a sample course. I'm currently in an elearning writing project where I've been tasked with becoming the Rise expert and this course is a perfect way to get me started and build my confidence.

Loved this course and other courses you have made. It teached me everything I needed to know to jump right in to it. Some content is a bit outdated (things in the video is not in the same place as it is in the new updates in Rise, like themes and such), but its not a problem since its easy to find.

He definitely went more in depth on the topics that he likes and skimmed over others. Let's take scenarios, for example. Had I not already semi-taught myself the scenarios blocks, this lesson would have been absolutely meaningless. I learned a few things that I already hadn't taught myself, but this wasn't an overall hit for me.

Excellent course and very easy to follow. Instructor answered my questions within 24 hours. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn about Rise in a methodical structured way. I did not do the translation or modified code parts as they not currently relevant to me. However I can go back and use this in the future if I need to. I did this course not having purchased Rise. As it is expensive I wanted to check it out first before getting a trial version to further try it out. Thanks Jeff.
