We'll start with the session setup and how to organize your tracks to create a template. This will allow you to quickly and easily create new compositions regularly to keep your creative ideas flowing.

At the start of this course, we're going to cover some essential basics that are fundamental in your workflow production. You may already be aware of these crucial steps to production, but just in case you missed something, I'm going to review how to optimize your system for a professional workflow in Pro Tools.

We'll take a look at the stock plugins that come with Pro Tools and then explore some 3rd party plugins that you can add to your system if you need to expand your sound library. I keep going back to this to go over the little tips, tricks, and time-saving advice given throughout the course. Even the things that aren't explicitly taught are huge time-savers.

Yes it truly is.

It doesnt go in deep of the subjects addressed

By Devin Jergentz on 11/2/2018

The step by step instructions are extremely easy to follow and comprehend for me. I'm not familiar with pro tools, but David knows how to break details down for inexperienced users well.

By Rebecca Loveland on 6/3/2018

Explanations are clear and directions are step by step.

This course is very good; however, it is missing completing a full beat (3 to 4 minutes long), step by step, from start to finish, using all or the most relevant techniques that beat-makers use or are currently using. At the end of the course, we want to have a full beat using all the techniques learned.
