Course Description

An accelerated course in C# and .NET Core
Welcome to this course about C# and .NET Core. It doesn't require any prior knowledge in programming as I will guide you through every step you need to become productive in the C# language. My ambition with this course is to firmly ground all theory in code that you and I write in the editor together.
As we'll pick up new skills along the way - we will keep adding code to our hangman game - an application that we will write from start to finish throughout this course.
We'll be working in Visual Studio 2017 (Visual Studio 2019 work's great too).Who this course is for:
  • People who are new to C# (or new to programming in general)
  • People who needs to refresh their knowledge of C#
  • Anyone looking to get into the C# language and .NET Core

I started working as a developer in the late 90's and picked up .NET as soon as it hit the streets. Mostly I do ASP.NET development but I love to write games as well :)

I have taught .NET to literally thousands of people since the last 10 years and hopefully inspired a few people along the way.

Great to make your acquaintance!

Ive been studying this subject for a year at university and our lecturer didnt care if we passed or failed and that ultimately led me yo the verge of failing, atleast this course actually teaches you something each lesson as well as the reasons behind doing certain things

It was really good.

So far the course has been easy to follow. It also gives excellent discriptions for maximum understanding.

By Thibaut Leyter on 9/15/2020

Definitely not for full beginner in computing. It lacks of details and go through some important part a bit too fast.
Anyway it helps me because I needed a quick sum up on the language. Knowing Java a similar language helped.
Also not too specific about the .NET framework.
