C# for Beginners - Coding From Scratch (Udemy.com)

This course is great. One reason I like this is the natural progression, the concept of learning about a concept, practicing it, then implementing it in a program that develops over time gives a natural way of writing code multiple times. The breaks where we can try solve problems on our own is both important but also a part of above mentioned progression. Good stuff, can highly recommend this course!

Video lessons are good. The tempo is good and the course covers lots of topics. The quizzes are too easy, many alternatives are way too dumb. "what is a variable?" 1. Another word for potato 2. A construct for storing data during the execution oaf a program. 3. the name of my pet goat.

Totally excellent course. This course gives very good concrete for starting C# and .NET studies. I can recommend this course to everyone, who wants to introduce himself to Microsoft software development domain. The instructor presented the topic very clear way, and the following of the sessions were very pleasant.

Clear and effective explainations. Could improve with updated videos using the latest software, some things isn't named the same in the newer version. Explainations are mostly easy to understand as a newbie, tho some explainations goes too fast, and expressions are sometimes hard to understand. Minor miss spellings in the videos, but you get the point anyway.

As a complete beginner, I found the course to be presented very strategic in the learning process and the instructors teaching methods very intentional and strategic to show a variety of ways to do things. I think it gives a very good structured approach to the subject and would say its a good start but wont take you all the way to understanding C# full capability. As a beginner you don't know what you don't know until you start using the language in your own applications.

The instructor did a great job explaining the concepts and then showing them in Visual Studio. I followed along the whole class and did all the labs with the instructor. I got a lot out of the course. I've been working with C# developers and as a manager and I thought it would be a good idea to understand the concepts and code syntax. I got tired of developers sharing their screen and feeling like I was looking at a foreign language. Thank You very much!

Excellent content with great explanations! Lots of useful tips and tricks such as keyboard shortcuts or Visual Studio hints. It also comes with many explanations of why to do in one way over another. Programming is a lot about problem solving and thinking in specific ways, which that kind of explanations can help a lot with. It was great to have one big project that we kept building from the ground up - both to get repetition on the things we learned in previous parts of the course, and also to add new things in an order that makes sense. It makes it much easier to wrap ones head around everything and reflect upon the flow of the code. I've certainly learned a lot from this course in a short time!

Ive been studying this subject for a year at university and our lecturer didnt care if we passed or failed and that ultimately led me yo the verge of failing, atleast this course actually teaches you something each lesson as well as the reasons behind doing certain things
