Highly informative teaches us to be aware of the websites we visit. It teaches us how to protect our privacy. It teaches us how to keep ourselves from getting our identity stolen. If you are new to the internet or a smartphone, you should take this course.

Very good course for beginners to computing, with a sound mix of theory explained and practical step-by-step guidance on how to execute the recommended tasks. Not very much new information for someone with a sound base knowledge of computer security, but that's clearly stated in the course title.

The course delivers many informational and interesting topic related to Cybersecurity. In addition, the instructor explanation is easy to understand with the helps of subtitles. Overall, I learn many new Cybersecurity knowledge from this course.

Great video overall. But maybe Udemy should stop requiring learners to download files and visit links. The whole point of the lesson was "don't click links you don't trust", yet you must click all these links and download all these files before being marked as complete. Sometimes, the links are even blocked by our company's network, which means that our organization doesn't trust the site to begin with, yet Udemy will force you to click the link or else you won't be marked as having finished the lesson.

A perfect windows specific cybersecurity course, probably the best one I've seen so far. I have taken many other courses which mostly concentrates on large organizations and network security or teach you how to become a hacker. Those have their places, but this is the only course I found that truly guides an ordinary person to protect oneself online in your personal life. I wish this instructor was around to develop more useful courses for individuals such as home network, not so much corporate networks...

Another excellent Udemy course with in-depth information we can definitely use to protect ourselves professionally as well as personally. Clear, concise, and very useful; thorough. Free anti-virus protection for computers under "Resources".

The speaker is really experienced on different security issues. He provided theory and solid examples for every issue. His tone is very calming and makes me a bit drowsy. But we can fix that with a cup of coffee during each session.

Good course to cover basics on online security. Useful as a company required courses for most employees. Feedback: Demos are all on windows desktop platform; could improve by including mobile app versions/views or Mac/iOS Section 4 #29 - Clean up Demo - mostly windows and msconfig walk through, not much actual demo of removing malware. Section 5 #31 - Social Engineering - would be useful if there was a demo/examples of social engineering (Section 5 #33 Fake Calls addresses part of this to a large extent) Section 7 #38 - App Downloads - still includes Microsoft Store for Windows Phone (discontinued; needs to be updated); could also be expanded to discuss Android and iOS in more detail Section 8 #44 - Password Strength - use of special characters / numbers - recent industry experts have debunked the strength of conventional password advice and instead advice having phrases with multiple words over just a password with special characters and numbers Section 8 #46 - Management Software Demo - limited to one product (felt more like a sponsored section) there are many other PW management options available

Excellent - great intro....black background might have been a bit intense, or change the color of your hair - drop the camera an inch or so, more neck than necessary. A little more animation in the voice by the speaker, would have made it much more interesting. Content is broad, might have focused more on specifics...ie; emphasis on doing this as opposed to doing this or this. The emphasis should be on Security, not necessarily all the ways you can be secure.
