Really easy to follow. Appreciated that it took a video to slowly walk through the download, instead of leaving it up to the students to figure out. Next time, for the MAC, would recommend showing how to get around the error message that Apple can't confirm safety of the downloaded external app. It was an easy Google and fix, but it did take longer than if the video also covered this incidence (like it did for the older MAC models and Archive).

I've completed around half of the course so far, and I'm finding it very useful. The best part is the explanation of real time problems and practical queries. it gives a better understanding of how the concepts are used in real work, rather than just learning the theory.

Lots of valuable and useful information; interactive quizzes a PLUS, and the presentation is good. However, the only issue I have with the presentation is, the Query examples and display is too small; hard to see and read. This would have been far better had all the steps were zoomed in to see and read. Other than that, I personally feel this course does provide a great source of 'beginner level' of useful information... definitely enough to get anyone started on the right foot.

I am enjoying it so far. Learning is set at the correct level for me as a beginner but feeling that I am learning valuable ways to use the tools. Integrations using my Mac has however cost a bit of time.

It's really good and beginner-friendly. The plus point of this course is that it comes with projects, which will really give some additional attention to my resume. This course is really good, and I will recommend it.

Good course ! It took me a bit more than one month to finish it. Now, I have a broad understanding on how to clean an excel file and divide the data in tables with keys. You can use pivot tables on excel to visualize data. Then you can import on MySQL Workbench and use SQL queries to analyze the data (inner join, left join, count, filter data,...). Finally, you can make your report with charts on Power BI or Tableau by importing your data in csv or from mysql. The module with Snowflake shows the basics on how to analyze data online with a cloud that store your files.

I am brand new to learning Data Analytics, this was one of few courses on Udemy I could find that contained Excel, MySQL, Power BI and Tableau together which is great. Graeme's teaching style is personally too fast paced for me, I found myself going back and relistening to parts of lectures many times because he often will click on something without saying what he's doing or why and if you're following along by listening to his voice you will miss some things he does because he doesn't vocalize everything he's doing and often does it too quickly. The course seems to contain a good introduction to the main tools you will need as a Data Analyst but it's nowhere near enough to be job ready as by the end of the course most of this information has left my brain lol. It would have been nice to have a final project that we created from the ground up that used every tool we learned. This seems to be an issue with most Udemy courses, there is simply not enough quizzes, exams, practice questions, projects, etc that drill the information into your head. If you're like me, you need to read/do something 10 or 20 times before you actually learn it and don't need to look it up anymore, I just wish these courses would build that into the curriculum, I need to be tested constantly, I just wish there was a better way to make sure you actually understand what was being taught more effectively. I am at the end of the course now and I am excited to start doing my own projects because I know that's when I will really start learning. Overall the course was okay, it's a decent intro to Data Analytics, the teaching style is a bit too fast and you will need to do a lot more after the course to be job ready but it's a starting point and we all have to start somewhere.

This course was a great fit for me. The content is very practical and focused on real-world data analysis, which helped me build confidence quickly. It was a good experience. I have learn a lot of important things related to data analysis. If I have to suggest an improvement would be the explanation of the "why", sometimes as a student you have to figure out by yourself, due to, is not well explained why some decisions are made in each class. But overall it is a good course.
