At times there were discrepancies in what I was viewing vs what was presented. Example: #159 Splitting Airline_Delay_Causes at the Data Source. Tableau would not split the Airline field in the Data Source tab properly. This meant throughout the lesson my data was not matching up. After I finished the lesson I went back and found I could perform a custom split on Airline for the city(, first). A custom split on Airline for State/Airline(, last). And a custom split on State/Airline (: First) for State. Then I had to recreate lesson #159 Percentage of Delayed Flights per State (Map Chart). Recreate the calculated field of Percent of Delayed Flights as Percent of Delayed Flights2. Then I could resolve the 1 Unknown state as Guam and proceed. This type of issue happened a few times throughout the course and was a little frustrating. Other than that I came to appreciate his repetition in the lessons which helped me to remember things. I have 380 pages of notes and screenshots. Overall, pretty darn good.

My name is Abraham Joudah
I have worked in IT and Data Science for more than 15 years. After completed my bachelor’s in computer science, I worked as Database Administrator in one of the engineering companies. I have obtained several certificates from Microsoft like MCSE, MCDBA and MCSA. After several years of working in IT, I started focusing on Data Science field and learning SQL in depth to enhance my business data analysis skills. I also worked as Data Analyst in several companies. Over several years of working in this field I mastered several analytical tools, such as: R, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and Excel. As I enjoy working at data science field I pursued my study in this major and obtained my Master’s degree in Business Analytics from University of North Texas and Doctorate degree in Knowledge Management from SMU University.
I love teaching Data Science, So I decided to create several courses in this field to share my knowledge with others. I tried to be more practical in my classes rather than repeating the same materials and curriculums in this field. I used materials based on real business scenarios to provide practical knowledge for students. I focused on examples from real business. In other words, I created shortcuts for learners to gain practical experience while studying my courses.
