After several years of working in IT, I started focusing on Data Science field and learning SQL in depth to enhance my business data analysis skills. I also worked as Data Analyst in several companies. Over several years of working in this field I mastered several analytical tools, such as: R, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and Excel. As I enjoy working at data science field I pursued my study in this major and obtained my Master’s degree in Business Analytics from University of North Texas and Doctorate degree in Knowledge Management from SMU University.

Instructions work in 2023 - Awesome! The course briefly explains the concepts, and makes them stick by using real world projects and examples. The technology used is a little old (SSMS 2017, SSRS 2013, etc), but the fundamental skills and practices are solid. This is an EXCELLENT course for beginners in Data Engineering.

I was not sure for the first couple videos if this course was for me but by now I am sure that it is the right one!

In this video he told only ETL that is taking excel -converting to -txt-and opening in excel -and converting columns to string,number,date thats it.
He told about reports i don't think that will helpful we can do it in Tablue by creating dashboards etc.
Don't get this course i simply wasted and they making money

Extremely basic (repetitive) teaching of ETL using very narrow scope of functionality in SSIS. Zero knowledge regarding data warehouse concepts or design. Have not gotten into SSRS portion of course yet. Don't expect to be able to gain anything close to knowledge level in ETL or data warehouse skills to be able to get a job in the field. Hopefully the SSRS portion is better. Moving on to a different course for now.

The title of the course indicated the subject was about datawarehousing and Microsoft BI. However, creating a new database and adding two tables 5 separate times isn't datawarehousing. ETL is presented as taking a CSV, changing the extension to txt and converting all the data to text and then opening the file in excel to change columns back to different data types before setting up a simple SSIS project to import into one of the 5 databases that were created. There's no discussion of using ETL to load a real data warehouse with star or snowflake schemas as I assumed from the title.
