Data Science Guide

My name is Abraham Joudah
I have worked in IT and Data Science for more than 15 years. After completed my bachelors in computer science, I worked Database Administrator in one of the engineering companies. I have obtained several certificates from Microsoft like MCSE, MCDBA and MCSA. After several years of working in IT, I started focusing on Data Science field and learning SQL in depth to enhance my business data analysis skills. I have worked Data Analyst in several companies. Over several years of working in this field I mastered using several analytical tools, such as: R, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and Excel. As I love and enjoy working at data science I pursued my study in this major till I obtained my masters degree in Business Analytics from University of North Texas.
I love teaching Data Science, So I decided to create several courses in this field to share my knowledge with others. I tried to present something new in my classes. Instead of keep repeating same materials and curriculum which are already existing everywhere, I added materials simulate real business scenario. I included examples that based on real business cases to learn something practical rather than learning everything about basics. In other words, I tried to create shortcuts for practical learning to focus on what is really needed in the work field.

This is an excellent match for me. I have had this instruction before, but it is always good to refresh. Also, different ways for explaining the material helps me understand it better.

I like this course, the instructor divided in sections Introducton Section, SQL Section, Practice Section and Tableau Section.
SQL Section it's an overview, he just show how to use and not why to use.
Practice Section is the best part of this course, the instructor uses more than 1 SQL statement for solving the problem.
Tableau Section it's an overview, he just show how to use and not why to use.
I recommend this course for everyone who want to learn about SQL and Tableau.

Good short introductory course. Lacks a bit of explanation on some function, but overall is good. At the end of the day is only 4 hours, so it is not aimed to be comprehensive and exhaustive.
I am giving a lower rating, because there are mistakes on some places
E.g. in the tutorial on wildcards, the teacher is looking at MS Access symbols for wildcards and some of those are different to SQL Server.
If you are new and do not know anything at all about SQL, this course is ok to just go quickly through the main SQL topics so you can get an idea and have some practice. I like it because it is not overwhelming on theory, rules, explanations.

Great course. Being new to this type of database analysis and never having done it before I am finding it just right for speed It is broken down very clearly

Graphics could be used for better teavhing and the voice of the educator could be autotuned a little or atleast accentuated

By Shamik Ghosh on 10/2/2020

Just wonderful. Easy to understand. Had a step by step approach. From our end, we need to practice more.

The course is easy to follow and very informative.

I think some of the queries are very advanced for someone that is learning SQL for the first time. also it is helpful to know why a particular order of query is needed.
I really liked the Tableau tutorial, it was very descriptive and to the point
