Learn DSA + Solve Leetcode problems for coding interviews

Our take

Based on the ratings of 2,215 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in January 2026. No course pays to be reviewed.

This is a Java-based interview prep course from Pratik Singhal, who says in his bio that he is a senior engineer at Amazon. It runs about 42.5 hours over 295 lectures and 29 sections, covering arrays, linked lists, trees, heaps, graphs, dynamic programming, bit manipulation and even segment trees. Many sections open with theory, then Leetcode problems are solved live. It asks for basic coding experience, and the stated audience is people already practicing on Leetcode, so it is not really a first course in programming.

Happy reviewers say the progression from basic ideas to harder problems builds confidence, and that seeing the same patterns repeat makes new questions less scary. They like the Java examples and the focus on logic over memorizing code. The complaints are sharper. Several low-star reviewers call the teaching rushed and say basics are missing, such as quicksort and some linked list operations like insertion at an index. Others found his fast speech and accent hard to follow. One reviewer notes that some Leetcode problems sit behind Leetcode Premium.

Most students are satisfied: roughly 1,500 of 2,215 ratings are five stars, and only about 70 are one or two stars. The syllabus shows a single quiz and no coding exercises inside Udemy. It was last updated in January 2026. Our read is that it suits someone who already knows the basics and wants focused Java interview practice. Complete beginners should probably start somewhere gentler and come back.

Best forJava developers drilling Leetcode who want each pattern explained with live code, not just a list of solutions.
Skip it ifYou are new to DSA and need slow, gentle teaching, or want every basic structure covered in full.

Pros

  • Wide topic range, from arrays to graphs, DP and segment trees, across 295 lectures
  • Each problem is solved live in Java, so the thought process is on screen
  • Reviewers say the topic order builds confidence before the harder problems
  • Patterns like sliding window, two pointer and intervals get their own sections

Cons

  • Low-star reviewers say it is rushed and skips basics like quicksort and some linked list operations
  • Fast speech and an accent that several reviewers found hard to follow
  • Only one quiz and no coding exercises, and some Leetcode problems need Premium
The progression from basic concepts to more challenging problems works well. It gives you time to build confidence before tackling harder questions.

Labeled All Levels, but it expects basic loops and arrays and really suits people already practicing Leetcode.

if you are beginner dont go for this one theory is very less and his english is lil confusing he repeatedly correct a sentence that make it hard to understand somtimes it becomes lil frustating to understand what he is trying to say

I really enjoyed the problem-solving focus of this course. Instead of just teaching concepts, it shows you how to think logically and approach problems step by step, which is invaluable for interviews.

By Gabriel Victor on 4/22/2026

This course really helped me build a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms using Java. The explanations are clear, and the LeetCode problems made it easy to apply what I learned. I feel much more confident preparing for coding interviews now.

This course made a huge difference in my understanding of data structures and algorithms. The concepts are explained clearly, and the practice problems helped me apply everything I learned in a practical way.

By Praveen Kudva on 3/29/2026

Like the way explanations are put across via the digital whiteboard and then the code. Overall the way the course is planned is also logical, from theory to arrays, sorting and so on. Lets hope rest of the sections continue the same way.

By Razafindrakoto Afzal Karim on 3/6/2026

This is one of the most practical DSA courses I’ve taken. The Java explanations are clear and structured, and the 150 Leetcode problems helped me apply every concept immediately. It’s perfect for interview preparation.

By Kartikey Kesarwani on 1/17/2026

this course is not complete and not proper explanation like in link list section there is not insertion at end ,at index ,and many more things .this is the worst course that made possible please refund my money

By Sahil Motiramani on 12/8/2025

Course is very well-structured and easy to understand. The pattern-wise approach makes concepts simple and helps in quickly identifying and solving similar problems. Overall, it’s a great course for building strong problem-solving skills in DSA.

By Praveen Mathew on 11/12/2025

Excellent course Pratik !! Your explanations starting from brute force and then optimizing to best solution is the USP. I would say for Java programmers this is the best course you could get in udemy or youtube
